No, I do not recommend this product.
What I was amazed with was the quick shipment of this , even though I didn't select a quick shipping method, I had it within a day of my order.
Pros:The installation was very easy, as instructions stated, was working within a few mins after installation.
Cons:It didn't improve the performance of my Dell Dimension 2400 PC , but I have other PC's that it may be able to run in better.

Yes, I would recommend this product
The card works a bit better than the onboard NIC and my bigger concern is it takes one of my only 2 PCI slots, the DVR card of course occupying the other. For that reason alone I might use it and the DVR on a different PC with more slots but the improvement in streaming and general connectivity is such that I'll leave it in until that time.
General advice to newbies: if your router security settings include MAC filtering you'll need to give the card's MAC address permission since your router won't know there's a new network card in your old PC.
Pros:I got this mainly to aid in streaming my home security feeds since I have the D-Link Dir-655 router.
Cons:When I enabled jumbo frames as suggested by D-Link support on my E510 I could no longer access my router page from that PC but the card appears to be working welll. Fortunately I have other PCs.
No idea why that would be and D-Link support offered no solutions.
