Yes, I would recommend this product
Even without follow-up, I still recommend that we all start doing this. Computers don't drop out of the sky, they take a lot of resource to make, and I don't want to take that for granted.
Pros:I have wondered how to offset the impact of all my computer equipment consumption, so I'm pleased Dell is offering this option. I think those of us who purchase frequently need to consider this a standard part of our budget.
Cons:There's no follow-up from Dell, so I can only hope that this money really is going to plant a tree, not for an advertisement that Dell is planting trees. I'd also like to know how much Dell is contributing towards this specific tree-planting project.
