The product is great. I have never installed hardware on a computer before, the technicians stepped me through it very easily and and before I knew it the hardware was installed. Thankyou Dell! The wireless card works great.

the best card I have used yet!

Yes, I would recommend this product
I’m quite happy with this card. It is plug_and_play in windows 7. It’s nice to have the separate antenna unit. You can move it around for optimal signal. With my old card I could pick up 3 of my neighbor’s networks. With this card I pick up 8!

The Box Antenna on Wall
Yes, I would recommend this product
This card was installed into Vista x86 and Vista x64, and both OS are running it just fine.
Decided to try Windows 7 (RC Build 7100) and the card was installed on the initial OS installation! That was amazing! Of course there was an update there after, and it's still working great. Vista did not pick up on the card without the drivers being installed, but Windows 7 x64 sure did.
The order agent said I wouldn't be disappointed with this product, and so far I am quite pleased that I waited three extra weeks to get in built.
Still enjoying the product, and have the antenna box mounted up high on the wall. It has a small dull blue LED that lights up when the unit is activated, makes for a small night light too. Doesn't blink, and is not overly bright like other LED'd products are.

1505 PCI Express WLAN Mini-Card
Yes, I would recommend this product
Ordered this WiFi device in preparation for a move, which will have WiFi only internet access.
Not having moved yet, I installed to my local network and the install into Vista x86 was trouble-free. I used the enclosed CD software, and I had to go back into Control Panel > Network and Sharing, lower left column clicked on Dell Wireless WLAN Card Utility. Clicked on View in the Menu Bar, and then Show Utility Icon for the wireless icon to appear.
Dell's utility software is phenomenal: * Link Status shows Signal & Noise histogram, MAC address, Encryption type, SSID, Actual Speed, Channel/MHz, Streams, Gateway, Client IP * Site Monitor shows the WiFi connections in the area that it is picking up on, SSID, Security type, Band Type (B/G/N), Speed of connection, Channel, and Signal Strength * Diagnostics of bother Hardware and Connection with numerous test options! * Information of utility version, software version, driver version, hardware of the WiFi card, chipset, MAC address, Location, and channels. - Only thing missing here id the ability to upgrade the firmware, software, drivers via a link or button. * Tray icon shows the usual connection statistics such as SSID, Speed, Signal Strength, Status, and connected address - while displaying the Bar Strength visual.
The online salesman said I would not be disappointed with this card, I sure hope he's correct on that. I only needed a G connection, but having all three bands in one unit saves having to upgrade at a later date.
Although I only use Vista x86 on my Dell XPS 630i as a backup OS, I still have yet to install on the Vista x64 OS platform (I'll add a reply later).
For now, this will at least give the prospective buyer an idea what to look forward to.
Cons: Well, the item was back ordered about a month, and Dell kept asking me if I wanted to wait (by law) or cancel my order. Since there are not many WiFi Adapters using PCI Express, I decided to wait it out. Glad I did.
Note: I also turned off the power save feature in Vista x86, for this WiFi card.
