easy to install. Pros are easy to install.No cons to this HD.
Pros:replace broken stock hd.

No, I do not recommend this product.
This is the second hd i have put in this computer.
I don't know how well this drive works because my rrestore disc stopped working at 4 % and I could not find any help from dell without paying for a tech to talk too. So now I have a hd that I don't know if it works or not.

Spare backup drive

Yes, I would recommend this product
Purchased as a backup up drive for my Dell Vostro laptop. Used a USB SATA HD enclosure and I've cloned my main drive using Acronis software. An extra backup in case my main drive (160 GB, 7200 rpm) fails completely and I could not used my other backups.
Chose this drive because Dell web site indicated drive is compatible with my Vostro.
Quite pleased with purchse and cloning process.

Good drive. Works as advertised. Must know how to access the internal hard drive on the note-book but replacement is easy.
Pros:Good size for large files.
Cons:None known.
