No, I do not recommend this product.
Cons:Although these tapes have a lifetime warranty and they "provide efficient backup and long term archiving for years", in practise this means less than 2 years of use on a once a week cycle. So you will need to replace before 2 years - Dell support even suggested yearly on a weekly cycle.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Works great with the PowerVault T124 Robotic Tape Library - only experience has been with this unit when dealing with the LTO2 tapes.
Pros:We've expererienced very fast backup times - nearly 160GB of backup is less than 3 hours - easy to setup - easy to clean - simple installation process.
Cons:Tapes tend to not last very long - we're averaging less than 8 months before we start getting random tape errors which immediately go away once we replace the tape.
