No, I do not recommend this product.
i orderd this monitor , only to discover when i hooked it up their is a blue line running the entire length of the left vertical side of screen, i cannot rate this product well,because i have yet to recieve a replacement, i have had problems with their 24 inch models in the past, so be a weary consumer, dell products ive bought in the past were xcellent, but now im not so sure!

Yes, I would recommend this product
My deskspace is limited, and my laptop's screen is not as big as I am used to. This monitor took care of both issues. Set up was easy, really plug and play. Did not need to load any drivers, just hook it up and i had two screens to work with.
Am impressed with the screen, and will recommend this monitor to anyone.

I recently had to replace my 19" monitor due to my 4 year old's curiosity. I compared the HP slim profile models to this Ultra-thin from Dell and pleasantly surprised that the spec was much better at a lower price point. Overall, this Dell S2230MX 21.5" has a much better spec for much less than you would expect. Easy to set-up in minutes. Ships within days... a very nice monitor and happy customer!

This monitor is a great piece of technology. I honestly have no qualms against this monitor, it has a great display, saves a lot space (despite being 21.5 inches), and its quality is fantastic! I completely and whole heartily love this monitor. This monitor is completely worth the price. The instructions for this monitor such as set up, is easy to read and understand.

Really like this monitor. The color and resolution is excellent, the screen is very thin, and it looks great for home use. I use this as the monitor for my home office and it's great.

I ordered this monitor to be a second monitor for my XPS 8500 system, which I had ordered with an S2230MX 21.5-inch monitor at the primary monitor. The pictures are great and I was delighted to find out how cool they operate. A little warmth can be felt when you touch the panel, but they are far cooler than the LCD monitor I had with my previous system.

We wanted twin matching monitors to enhance gaming experience. We felt response time was very good, certainly better than what we were running. Monitors were thin,light, and attractive as advertized. If Dell intends to include cables with monitor, It would be a plus to give customer the choice of VGA or digital.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I have two Dell displays in this size, one with fluorescent and one with LED backlight. They both have high-quality pictures and worked out of the box without incident. Aside from the thin profile of the LED, I also like the color balance, which has slightly more blue and slightly higher contrast potential. I have had no problems with either display (over 1 year for the fluorescent display and about 2 months for the LED display.) Both are very nice displays.

Excellent Monitor to hook up use, I bought it for my Aurora Alienware and it handles everything without any difficulty. Brilliant and Vibrant colors at all times. Love it and would recommend to anyone I know.

Pros:Picture is very clear and sharp. Extremely light weight and just the perfect size. Easy acces to cord connection for quick set up. great value.. tilt feature is useful.
Cons: Does not have any usb ports and is not height adjustable.

I love this monitor,
It is easy to set up, super thin and light and has a beautiful picture.
It uses a laptop-like 12V power adapter, which I don't mind at all.
Tiny quibble - only has VGA and DVI ports and they face out (all my other Dell monitors have connectors that face down) so the cables have to stick out at the back kind of funny.

It was a surprise from my husband, but I love it. I watch a lot of shows online because I don't have time when the shows regularly air and the picture is beautiful. Easy to set up. I love it. Nice, big, clear picture. My husband is a computer tech & obsessive. He throughly checks out every product we buy and this one is great.
