Yes, I would recommend this product
A replacement drive for an overworked one. As usual, easy to order and quick to deliver. Don't change anything DELL, and you will have a long and appreciative customer. P.S. This drive only reads media as stated. It does not state that it rewrites.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I AM VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE. THE DVD PLAYER WAS EASY TO INSTALL AND WORKS GREAT. THE PRICE WAS GOOD AND THE SHIPMENT ARRIVED QUICKLY.

No, I do not recommend this product.
The actual drive is a good regular drive.
I searched Dell.com for this drive by putting in the computer model and thats how they recommended this.
I didn't realize that it would be any different from the drive that came installed in my machine so I just ordered it.
Can't even write CD's? Why does Dell still sell these things?
Anyways, I recommend this to anyone that is not interested in being able to write CD's or DVD's.
