Yes, I would recommend this product
I work for a Telecommunication company which we offer Dial-up service along with other services and i use my laptop to test connection so since most don't come with dial-up modems installed now had to buy this with new computers use this on a daily basis haven't had one problem out of it

Yes, I would recommend this product
My wife was happy to find that it was possible to do faxing thru our new Dell Studio computer so I called the Dell center for advise from a technician as to what modem would serve us best. The assistance I received was out of this world. I was quickly able to pass the information on to my wife to get the product ordered and we had it in a couple days. Our old fax machine would not cooperate in sending more than a few copies at a time, but this modem enabled us to swiftly sent along a document with numerous pages with no problem at all. We are quite thrilled with it and the support we received from the Dell staff.

Yes, I would recommend this product
It works. Unfortunately, I've only been able to obtain a connection speed between 24-31 kbps on a connection that usually maintains a connection of between 44 kbps and 56 kbps with other computers that aren't nearly as powerful as the laptop I'm using this with.

Yes, I would recommend this product
While I have not used a modem connection in quite some time, I purchased this for my Mini 910 just in case I found myself in a situation where I needed an old-fashioned modem connection in a pinch. Personally, I wish the Mini had an internal modem onboard, but I guess these days a modem isn't quite as important as it once was. The modem drivers installed without a hitch, and the computer quickly found the hardware. I did a test connection through my old Maryland Online account that I still have running just for the rare emergency and the connects ranged from 44K to 52K - about on par with what my home Courier v.Everything modem achieves.
Pros:* Small Size
* Easy USB Installation
* Handy to have if you need a modem connection
* Decent connects and throughput (for an analog modem)
* Inexpensive
Cons:* An external device to carry (and lose!)

Pros:I really cannot review this-I bought a new lap top and couldn't tell if it had a modem and the CSR rep couldn't tell me. I purchased this just in case and have not used it. It is still in the factory wrapping.
