Yes, I would recommend this product
The process was easy :) looking for a battery for an older PC can be time consuming and like everyone I am pushed for time.
The product was easy to compare, easy to order, and arrived promptly like promised. I would buy again from DELL!

Yes, I would recommend this product
I love this battery. I started out with the 9-cell battery upgrade and I love this battery way better. The change in weight is much easier to carry around and it's only a little bit less time.

Really should be included with the laptop to start with. I really don't think the 4-cell battery should come with the laptop at all.
Pros:I think this was great... it added about 2 extra hours of use on each charge for me
Cons:juts out a little bit on the front. Adds what seems to be about an extra pound to the weight overall.

Yes, I would recommend this product
This really is the optimal battery for the machine. It has enough juice to get me through even lengthy meetings, but keeps the compact form factor and fairly low weight.
Using the 4-cell battery is fine for short meetings and puts the "ultra" in ultraportable, but any more than one or two hours of remote use and I need to carry an AC adapter.
The 9-cell is an awesome battery as well, but increases weight and size. It's a great choice for "travel mode" since the run time is crazy long.
The 6-cell unit is a great compromise between portability and run time.
Buy all three batteries, and you'll find yourself using the 6-cell more than the other batteries!
Dell laptop batteries in general are overpriced. I highly recommend purchasing spare batteries with a new system.

Like many Dell batteries, this one sports a charge status LED's. For any user with more than one battery, this is a great feature.
Cons:Minimal weight gain

No, I do not recommend this product.
Pros:Same size as the 28Wh, the one that comes with your Latitude D420.
Cons:Only 3 hours and 20 min of running. The 28Wh lasted me 2 hours.
