Review:I am glad I purchased this battery as I can use my laptop much longer than with the battery that came with it. It is definitely worth the cost to have this battery versus the 6 cell.

Review:I really love it. Once it is charged, you can use it for hours and not worry about your laptop shutting down while you are working with it.
The only thing that still bothers me about the 9-cell batteries, is the extra space they require. I can not use my laptop case anymore because it won't fit in it.
However, I would rather have an awesome battery than an old bag!

Review:The battery has been great. It allows me to use my computer on long flights and for long periods around the house without worrying about losing power. It is a little heavier that the original, but not terrible. I wish I had bought it sooner. A great investment.

Review:I bought this battery because the one that came with my laptop barely lasted two hours. I am pleased with the lifespan of this battery however I was surprised at how heavy the battery was and how much extra weight it added to my laptop. All in all it was a good investment and I pleased with purchase, especially with travelling.

Review:This battery was worth the investment I've had standard battery's before and they seem to go quick, two years at the most. However this one is an added bonus when you don't want to carry around a charger all day. I just go out with the standard 6 cell and this 9 cell and I'm good for about 12 hours. Also one of my friends has had a dell for about 5 years and his 9 cell still holds its original 4 hour life (on the net of course). Dell makes them last long so make the investment , you won't regret it.

Review:I've been looking to buy a Dell laptop for some time and I finnaly chose the Inspiron 15R 2nd generation and also added a 90 WHr 9-cell Linthium-Ion Battery.The power and speed of this computer is very exciting! Having the 9-cell battery turned out to be just what I needed on my recent trip. The added/extended battery life was great to have on the plane and during times when there was no electric power available. I love the look and design of this computer. Anyone looking for an exciting and awesome computer that has lots of power and versatility with unlimited options need only look to own a Dell.

Review:Great for where I want to use my laptop but it is not possible to plug it in. This battery has a longer life than the normal on, so I can work on long air flights with the combination of the two.

Review:I LOVE this battery! My battery life went from 3.5 hours to 11.5 hours with this 9 cell battery. Highly recommend this battery for the Inspiron 17R.

1. cannot order 9-cell in place of 6-cell when ordering a new system
2. cannot charge either 6 or 9 cell outside of notebook
3. HP offers express charge port on battery, allowing it to be charged directly from the power supply, while using the other battery. With an extra power supply or two, you can be charging both batteries, while using the system on AC power.

Review:I considered upgrading my old battery for months, and finally ordered the 9-cell. Wish I hadn't waited all those months, this is well worth the extra money. Would never buy another laptop without upgrading to the bigger battery, easily get 6-8 hrs. per charge! Nice, thanks Dell.

Review:What the heck am I doing wrong? I'm lucky I'm getting an additional 2 hours of battery life than the battery that came with the computer? I was told by a computer technician that this battery was never intended to offer 90 hours of battery life? I know I'm not computer savvy - but that's what I assumed by the description! I was told with my 17.5 screen that I'd be lucky to get 4 hours of battery life. Is it me or my computer? HELP!

Review:Bought this battery because I needed more hours of usage. This battery does the trick. Even though I wish I had a battery that even lasts longer, this one is good enough - even for the user that is on their laptop a lot. I would recommend this to anyone who needs more time for their laptop.
