Yes, I would recommend this product
If you buy a laptop in the first place it is for convenience and travel. This adapter not only charges, on a plane but anywhere you might go. It's slim design and supporting small bag make it a best buy, or a must buy especially for the traveler.
Pros:Very slim and easy to pack in carry on. Comes with two lengths of cord for AC outlet. Short cord easy to pack in the handy little bag. Very slim design for concealing in luggage.

Yes, I would recommend this product
It works, it was recommended by Dell for my laptop but is is underrated in power, resulting in a message every time I plug it in that the computer will run in low power mode, and I have to hit F1 every time I boot up. it is rated at 65 watts, the laptop requires 95 watts. I don't know why it was recommended and I am going to return it.

Dell recommended this set for my Insperion Laptop. Please not the discription says for select models. The plugs on this set do not fit my machine. Unfortunately for me it was two years before I finally decided to try it out.

I bought this with my new notebook so I could use the Notebook in the car. It was used on our vacation trip to Florida and did not have any problems with it at all. Being slimline it is very lightweight and small

This charger is great when you need to travel on a long trip to watch movies, work, and everything else you can do with a laptop.
Pros
It has all you may need, plus another type of connector to plug it into the wall.
It's 110v - 220v so you can travel the world and still using it without a second piece of instrument needed to transform the voltage level.
It has a led to show you when it is connected and comes in a handy bug with a zipper.

Doesn't work with XPS-17, even though recommended

No, I do not recommend this product.
Dell recommended this adapter to me (to have as a spare) during checkout when I was buying an XPS 17. When i plugged it in, the computer came up with an error screen that advised that the adapter did not have enough power, it would not charge the battery, and programs might run slower. I think I just wasted my money. Upsetting because it was recommended by Dell during checkout, so I assumed it would work.

Stopped charging

No, I do not recommend this product.
1. After about 6 months, the charger stopped working: Although the light on the adaptor was illuminated and it would power the computer, about 2/3 of the time it didn't charge the battery. I sometimes had success by unplugging and then replugging the connections, but not always. I finally gave up and bought a new charger.
2. I don't understand why the normal charger for my computer (Latitude E6400) is 90-watt and the travel charger is 65-watt.
Pros: Compact. Con: Stopped working.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Outside of that, even if you do have a computer that it works with be warned that the cable that runs from the brick to the computer is only about 12-18'' which would be way too short in some situations.

your battery is getting low- switch power source or your computer will shut down- I thought the battery would last longer- anybody who has experieced this whether in a car, or a plane needs this power adaptor- works great and can really save the day!

We bought an AC power adapter we found at another store. It wasn't quite made for the laptop we have but it at least powered the laptop but never charged the batter. This adapter is meant for the laptop we have and have found that not only does it charge the battery but the plug fits in the laptop without falling out. Little pricy but worth it.
