Yes, I would recommend this product
I am totally satisfied with the 1700 laser printer. The drum kit is easy to install. Jt takes seconds to install and right to work. It's obvious and no guess work involved. One of the best products I've owned.

Pros:simple instructions. Easy to install
Cons:Last drum I bought did not last as long as previous drums purchased

Please include instructions with the new drum; how to see how many copies you got out of the old drum before installing the new drum
Pros:Easy to install.
Cons:Instructions not as good as they could be.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Despite the cost, Dell's brand does work best in its printer.
Pros:Works as it should and works better than the no-name off brands, but the cost is too expensive for what is basically a frame, a roller, a few rubber parts, some moving parts and a casing.
Cons:I now know why they made this roller assembly separate from the toner cartridge.. because together with the toner cartridge, you are paying more than you would have to pay had the whole thing been together as 1 part. HP has their rollers and toner cartridges together in 1 assembly so you only have to buy 1 thing.. albeit, it is still expensive, but it is not as expensive as it is to buy 1 roller assembly and 1 toner cartridge for Dell printers.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I've priced it at whichever of the Office Supply stores now carries Dell and this is cheaper.
Pros:I get it, I remove the wrapping, pull out the old one and wrap it, shove in the new one and continue printing. The old one goes to shipping, they slap the preprinted label on it and send it back. No problems at all!!!
Cons:None that I know of!

Give it a shot and buy this products with a new toner cartridge and you will be suprised. Its like having a new Laser Printer.
Pros:Very easy to install. Made my old laser printer print like new, crisp, bright and very well defined printouts.
Cons:None to date.

We have over 17 of these in use in our company, every so often 1 or 2 takes a dump usually when warranty is ended.
Pros:Easy to change
Cons:Liket he other user, I've done a soft reset and still says it's flashing. Maybe it's time to flash it. Also I don't like how their toner levels are not numeric, I mean their old firmware wasn't.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Pros:It's not too expensive like some drum units and it comes with detailed instructions on how to change it!
Cons:I followed the instructions to get the "change drum" light to quit flashing and it's still flashing. I'm not too worried about it since the print quality is good, it's just kind of annoying.
