Yes, I would recommend this product
This is my first time use wide screen monitor,
I bought it because it's 21:9 wide screen, good for movie and gaming
It is great, color is accuracy, the only weak point is I need time to adapt the wide screen, especially when view angle over 45 degree, the color become lighter and tint.

I've had this monitor for about two weeks now and have used it both for work and gaming. I love it!
In the past I've used a Dell 30" monitor (2560x1600), a 27" monitor (2560x1440), and now this 29" monitor (2560x1080). More recently, I've been using at 24" View Sonic display at (1920x1020). Here are my observations:
* For work, this display is roughly equivalent to two 4:3 aspect ratio monitors put together, but without a bezel separating the two. Like a two-monitor setup, it gives you plenty of real estate for working with two or more windows. Dell's 30" monitor gives you more area in this regard, but the 29" definitely gets the job done.
* For gaming, it takes less power to drive this monitor than the 30". With this monitor, more area is used filling up your horizon with game images. While gaming on the 30" was nice, offering a broader vertical view, very rarely is anything shown in that upper view area that made a different in the game.
* The color on the Dell 29" is much better than the 3D View Sonic I had been using. Bioshock Infinite is nothing short of stunning.
* I've tried over a half-dozen games using this monitor and so far all the games I've tried have supported this resolution.
* While the View Sonic that I had been using at a 2 ms response time and the Dell is 5 ms, I have not observed any noticeable difference between the two. This display looks so much better, that I'd take it over the ViewSonic any time.
The monitor looks great even when it's off. The upper bezel and side bezels are flush with the display, so it's like one long stretch of non-reflective surface. The controls are responsive and easy to use.
I really appreciate Dell's no-bright-pixel guaranty. No one like noticing a dead pixel after plunking down the cash on a new display.
I only had one problem with it so far. When I reconnected the Dual DVI cable after I'd shut it off, I couldn't get the monitor to "see" the signal coming from the computer (although, when I plugged in the old View Sonic, it recognized the signal fine). In this case, I just ended up switching to an HDMI cable and BOOM, I was in business again. I suppose it could be an issue with the video card, though why it would work for one monitor and not the other is anyone's guess.
If you are on the fence about this one, go for it. You WILL NOT regret this purchase. Highly recommended.
Pros:stunning display, color accuracy, great for work and movies and gaming, responsive easy-to-use controls, beautiful panaromic views
Cons:a headphone jack would have been a nice touch

Needed a new monitor to replace my 7 year old Dell 24" monitor. I went to Fry's and was convinced by a sales person to get the two LG IPS277 screens for about the same price as one 2913. After using the LG monitor for about 5 minutes I became really disappointed with the monitor. Even though gaming seemed good and color accuracy was good the display felt really cheap and reading text was horrible! I had a hard time reading text on the screen. Got a headache within 5 minutes of using it. I did not even bother opening up the second screen. Went back to the store and returned them. Looked through all the monitors and kept coming back to the Dell 2713 and the 2913 screens. I compared both the 2713 (2560 x 1440) and the 2913 side by side and determined to get the 2913. The 2713 just seemed a little clunky.
I have been using the screen for about 3 hours now doing some programming and some research (writing an essay for school) and I can say that I am really enjoying the monitor. Love the extra wide view for multiple open windows. The text is crisp and clear. The color is great. Very easy on the eyes. Sleek and nice looking is also a plus.
I don't normally write reviews but felt the product was worth a little of my time. Definitely enjoying the monitor and hoping that this monitor will last me as long as my last Dell monitor.

Pros: Great color, amazing picture, perfect size
Cons: 1. After one month I already have 2 stuck pixels, Dell's website says it's normal and isn't warranty until it's 6 or more. Not a deal breaker, but annoying. 2. Price
I wish I could give it 3.5 stars. It's a way above average monitor, but the 2 stuck pixels really annoy me for a $700 monitor.
