Title:
Every projector should know its limitations
PostedAugust 14, 2012
Yes, I would recommend this product
First, it does not tilt enough to project as close as possible to the arm base. If one has a low ceiling this produces a major problem for projection. Second, when using the smart pen, it does not calibrate well away from the middle of the screen, for upper and lower of the screen it gets out of position, only in the middle the pen coincides with its projected writing. Third, why it should announce its connecting password and ip address to all? This is not appropriate for a meeting, it should only be seen on the laptop screen in which one is to project. Fourth, the wifi connectivity is not uniform across the room, the antenna does not seem to be installed up front but to one side of the projector head or base. Fifth, the mounting base should be sold included with the projector, the Dell rep never told us the mount was sold separately. Finally, the control software is not very friendly, should be more intuitive to allow interactivity between all in the audience, we use for an interactive science class and it is a bit cumbersome to allow connections per groups into this so all can participate, it should be easier for teachers to use.

No, I do not recommend this product.
The product is good but the manual only describes the functions, teaches nothing. I spend too much time until I get to use.
