Got this machine to replace a wore out Canon and to lighten the load on our other printer. So far I'm fairly satisfied with the printing/coping functions. Primary reason I chose this machine was because it was network capable and printed/scanned duplex! It's hard to find one out there that does. Little did I know that there is absolutely no user interface or scan manager to go with this printer. Scanning to the computer is slow and next to worthless. My printer I spent $200 on does a better job, and faster (but doesn't do duplex AAAHHHH!!) Spoke with Dell technician and found out that I needed to purchase additional memory for the machine to make it work the way I want it to. There's another $70 thrown into the pile. No telling it if fixes the issue or not. Also, don't let the brand fool you. This is not a Dell machine...it's guts are Lexmark. I've never had good luck with Lexmark, swore I would never buy another one. Ooops. We'll see if the additional memory fixes the issues and makes this printer what I want it to be. So far I'm on the fence on this thing.
