Good printer. Plug and play on home network. Once it warms up and starts printing, it prints well! Overall quality is perfect for small office or home use. Great price.

I have not had any problem with this printer. I love the fact that I can exchange the ink with Dell being a "Green" family. I have used the fax and printer and am pleased with both. This is my third printer....so far it is my favorite.

Yes, I would recommend this product
Replaced an 9 year old HP Laser Jet 6P. I picked this for a simple replacement and the footprint is smaller. The networking was easy to set-up with the disc. We print from multiple computers thru a wireless router. Great printer for the price. So far so good.
Con: It is a loud printer as indicated in one of previous reviews.

I purchased a Dell laser printer very similar to this one a few years ago. It was my first network printer ever. It worked great, in fact so good that when I needed to upgrade I gave it to my son who still has it and uses it. He loves it too. I'd buy a Dell laser printer any time again and again.

No, I do not recommend this product.
We bought this printer to replace an older Dell 1720. The selling point for us was the document feeder on the front that unlike most printers can be used without flipping the front lid open. Unfortunately the document feeder has a very hard time grabbing any type of paper fed into it and about half the time it gives a paper jam message when trying to use it. Our old 1720 never had this problem.
Secondly, this printer is pretty slow. I count almost 25 seconds from pressing print to the first page being done. Our old Dell was much faster.
This printer does function fine when printing from the main printer tray and the print quality is pretty good. I guess for the price it's ok but I wish we had purchased something else.

This is a great printer for the price ,I use it for my home office for estaments for jobs.very fast page per minute copies and you get plenty of copies and scans out of the ink roll

He was paying .08 cents a copy at school and was considering selling his body for spare change inorder to support his printing needs.

Yes, I would recommend this product
I replaced an old Ricoh A610 with this Dell 1130n, and so far, I love it. It's considerably smaller, the print quality is just as good (if not better), quieter, and setup was a breeze. I set it up on my house network, ran the included disc, and the printer was detected and installed within minutes.
Once installed, you can view the status of the printer via the web interface, by typing in the IP address for the printer. My old laser printer did that too, but for such an inexpensive laser printer, it was nice to see the feature still there.
I have not experienced a reason yet NOT to get this printer. The only thing I wish it had, would be a hard switch. If you lose power, this printer will not come back online after power is restored (like my old printer). Not a big deal though.

Be carefull, this product doesn’t work on Mac ! It's writtens that's working but its not !

My wife was taking online classes and was printing out unbelievable amounts of material. In one month she went through nearly $120+ worth of inkjet cartridges.
Considering how relatively cheap this laser printer is and the number of sheets it will print on a given toner cartridge, it was an undeniable bargin and justifiable cost.
I really appreciated the fact that the toners come pre-paid return for recycling too.
Its a sturdy little printer and my wife loves it.
Its a great buy for the money.

This is my second Dell laser printer. My first was the 1100 is was 5 yrs old still working great but I wanted a new one so I looked others but bought the Dell 1130n because I knew it last.I like the special paper feed slot and the bottom paper drawer both are great features that the 1100 didn't have.
