My Vostro 1450 specs, CPU - i5-2450M RAM - 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Display - AMD 7450M 1GB and Intel Graphic HD 3000
Pros ------ 1)Anti-Glare LCD screen (not-reflective). Helps you to see better especially when you're using it outdoor. Less presentable but more practical. 2)London Slate Grey Back Lid Cover (non gloss). Avoids annoying finger prints on your notebook. 3)Simple Design, very similar to the inspiron14 4)Cool Temperature. 5)CPU ideals at 0.1% usage, RAM at 33% 6)Spill Resistance (haven't actually tried it but stated at product section) 7)Simple keyboard layout.
Cons ------ 1)No usb 3.0 2)Cheap paintjob on the grey lining at the sides of the notebook. Looks like it can wear off easily. 3)DVD slot tray looks rather flimsy and cheap. 4)No backlit keys
Other Comments --------------- 1)Model with AMD 7450M has an interchangeable graphic function to switch your display channel from Intel Graphic HD 3000 (default) to AMD 7450M. The reason they added this function is to optimize power consumption of the notebook. However, I've tested both graphic adapter on several up-to-date games. The test shows that some graphical games work better with the Intel 3000 and some better with the AMD 7450M. Yet, I'm quite dissapointed with the 7450M. I expected much more from it =(.
2)Startup time 40-45secs
To conclude, I would recommend this notebook if your planning to use it - outdoor frequently - work / studies - light gaming
Pros:education, work, entertainment, mild gaming

Bought it mainly for domestic use in Oct 2011. Kids playing around on it, surfing internet, some amount of homework carried back from work.
Till now no complaints.
Sound quality above Average, Camera - a bit of a let down though (only 1.3MP)
Yes takes a bit of a time to boot up. But performs OK after that. Pretty comfortable keyboard.
Would have liked to have a few more color options though.
