ProsSmall, sleek. Works great, rips and downloads music with ease. I've had for 3 months now and no problems until a few days ago.............
ConsWell, my zen is now defective. It won't turn on, reset - IT DOES NOTHING!!!!! I was listening to it in my car and it just turned off and won't come back on. I've tried everything. I have over 500 songs, 5 movies and pictures on this darn thing. I still have room to add more, but it is dead.

ProsZEN 8 GIG is one of the greatest product purchased and a great price. I use this product without reading instruction. Thats how easy it is to use. picture quality is great and the sound is wonderfull! i use this product to watch movies.
ConsSHORT USB CABLE. Do buy this product. trust me u will not regreat it! and will will want to buy for gifts
Review:I placed over 100 pictures on the unit and i listen to music while i view the pictures. The radio is great to listen to my news, the audio books is great!

Title: 8 Gb Zen replaced my 30 Gb Zen Vision M

ProsSmall size, customizable menus, 10 available bookmarks, push button controls rather than touch pad works with gloves on, user interface very similar to Zen Vision M, compatible with Overdrive Media Digital Right Management WMA files, screen is the same size as the larger Vision M, expandable memory with SD, radio and voice recorder are extra bonuses.
ConsNone, it is the perfect MP3 player for me.
Review:I bought the 8Gb Zen solid state player to replace my 30Gb Zen Vision M that had a hard failure. The physical size is very compact compared to the Vision M. I have 14 books on it now and have only used 2 of the 8Gb, not sure if I will ever need to use the SD expansion. Album art never worked right on the Vision M but always works with this one. I drag and drop artwork int0 Windows Explorer album view. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. My husband still has a Vision M and will be getting a Zen when that one goes.

ProsIt has good features FM radio, video, and good things, it's small to carry with you every where.
ConsI just got it 3 weeks ago and it had been working fine, until now it just frooze and does nothing, I can't even shut it down it's just there froozen....I didn't expect it to do this, I haven't even given my first payment.

ConsFreezes ALL THE TIME!! Software that it came with is awful! It's hard to download the music into it, takes too many steps.

ProsGreat audio quality. I would say excellent, but we're talking compressed files here. I didn't buy it for the video or picture functions, but both are certainly a nice plus. It also has FM radio capablility.
ConsUSB cord extremely short; don't understand why they couldn't make it a little longer. Not everyone has their PC or USB hub on their desktop. Controls are a bit confusing at first, but not impossible to learn.
Review:I've heard that the X-Fi players are even better, in regards to improving compressed audio quality. Still, I am happy with the Zen.

ConsI ORDERED THIS PRODUCT AND RECEIVED IT TWO WKS LATER. THIS MP3 PLAYER FROOZE SEVERAL TIMES EVEN ON THE FIRST DAY AFTER CHARGING IT. IT TOOK ME 3 HRS TO FIND OUT I COULD RESET AND THATS ALL I HAVE BEEN DOING FOR THE LAST TWO WEEKS....

ProsItem ordered on june 11,was scheduled for delivery until june 18 received on june 13:totally awesome delivery time.Have been working with and setting it up all day,it works with all my media content,WMP 11,media direct,urge, etc...Very compact,smaller than i imagined,it is actually the size of a credit card.And the price dell was cheaper then creative for there own product.The handy earphones that came with the ZEN are actually better then i thought they would be,not the usual cheap plastic breakables you normally get.Now i can watch my movies on the go,along with my song lists.Totally AWESOME product.
ConsThe only con i had with this,it took me nearly 3 hours to figure out how to adjust volume.But once adjusted the audio is better then i thought.
Review:I wish i had opted for the 32gb,instead of the 8gb with all the media content i have.I am sure i will never use the entire 8gb.Once my kids saw this item they wanted to take control of it,and do away with there ipods,so it looks like i am ordering a couple more of these.

ProsOverall I am very satisfied. For the cost the quality of this product is exceptional. Sound and picture quality are good. It is pretty easy to upload songs and pics.
ConsProduct does freeze occasionally and sometimes it takes a lot to get it "unfrozen".
