No need to get a Smartv with this product. Sound is great and the video quality is outstanding.

Almost Perfectly Balanced

Yes, I would recommend this product
This system is almost perfect. The power is more than adequate to accommodate any room. The HUB for the system is well thought out and the addition of an iPhone cradle is great. The wireless rear speakers work fairly well. If connecting to a Samsung television, the BD-Wise connect makes you wonder why no one thought of this sooner.
The only negative thing I can really think of with this system is that the wires are crimped with a different type of connector. This makes upgrading the speaker wire somewhat difficult.
