Title: Nice price for GREAT performance! Date: November 25, 2009
Product Uses: Gaming, p

Review:Pros: 1GB of onboard memory, PERFORMANCE vs. price,
easy to install, HD DVI-I output and /or VGA, S-video.

Cons: Very high to extremely high game settings a little choppy.

I bought this card to play a new game called Dragon Age. My Inspiron 530 didn’t have the muscle for a high performance, high demanding game- even with 4GB of RAM. I was a little concerned that the clock speeds are at 550 MHz for the card and 800 MHz for the memory (hence the great price). The more expensive cards, $200 and up, boast in the GHz for speed. This baby may not be the fastest kid on the block, but it sure knows what it’s doing!! The 1GB of memory did as advertised. Running a memory hog like Vista usually meant shutting every thing down but what you needed to work with. NOT ANY MORE! I had the virus scanner/firewall and all start up programs running, downloaded huge files from the internet all while playing the game at high settings for a 10 hour torture test (for the card, I had Fun). NOT ONE HICKUP!! There was no lag time or slowdown between loading new areas. Best of all - IT DID NOT CRASH!! This card out played ME! Well done XFX and Nvidia!! This card is the first I had to out last me. The video quality is out standing and smooth even in high settings! Very high settings were a little choppy. At least I now know why I bought an HD monitor. I am absolutely impressed and satisfied. The only problem I had is that UPS lost the first card ordered . Dell stepped up and had FedEx deliver a replacement 24 hours after I called to gripe and didn‘t charge anything for shipping - nice. Also, if the web site says its out of stock, it probably isn’t. I found that the card is listed 5 times with 5 different descriptions, 4 of which were out of stock when I tried to get the replacement. I had to point that out to customer service when they told me it would be another week to restock. So just search for XFX GEFORCE 9500GT and you should find all of them, hopefully one in stock. These babies go quick!

Review:Perfect for my Dell Inspiron 530s. I thought there's no solution for my gaming problem. Add the low profile bracket and your good to go.

Title: Disappointing Card Date: May 28, 2009
Product Uses: Music & Movies

Review:I got this card at the recommendation of an on-line Dell chat representative. The price was pretty good compared to other cards.

My issues are as follows:

1) It comes with the wrong bracket for the Inspiron 530S.
2) The DVI connector is wrong for dual DVI.
3) Something is wrong with the card when connecting to an AV receiver. It won't pass video through to the monitor.

Title: Great Card WITH KIT Date: May 7, 2009
Review:I've read a few reviews about this card and the fact that Dell does not sell a low profile bracket kit for this card. I just bought one of these cards not too long ago...with a low profile kit.

Title: A little misleading! Date: April 25, 2009
ProsGreat price, great mid-range card runs most games at medium settings or higher. Runs cool and quiet.
ConsDell, Dell, Dell. This card like the other reviewers stated does not fit in the Inspiron 530S without the bracket kit. It also needs a minimum of 400W PS. All I did was buy a Thermaltake mid-tower case ($79) with a 500W PS and transfer the guts into it and now the card fits perfectly.

Title: PERFECT LOW PROFILE CARD! Date: April 23, 2009
ProsMost powerful low profile card I could find. Great price. Fits perfectly in my Inspiron 530s. All you need is the low profile adapter kit which Dell DOES sell. Dell Part# : A0783749
Consnone.

Review:But the low profile accessory kit for $10.99 ( Dell Part# : A0783749) along with it if you have a slim design desktop and need a low profile card.

Title: Good card but does not fit 530S Date: April 22, 2009
ProsGreat card video wise
ConsDell's automatix system configuration tool said this was the right card for my 530S. Little did I know I'd needed an adapter kit to get it to work. It would have been cheaper to get it from amazon had I know Dell had no kits.

Title: Don't buy for Inspiron Date: April 6, 2009
ProsProbably an excellant card.
ConsDell shouldn't sell this unit for Inspiron 530s desktop. It needs adapter plates which they don't sell and the MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS ARE 400 watt power supply.

Review:I will save this video card for future pc build.
