Review:I recently purchased the TV. The first one came and I took it out of the box. It had a dimple in the screen and ripples all over the place. I boxed it up and sent it back. The replacement TV I got wouldn't even power up and the back started smoking. I sent it back as well.
I think the way the TV is packaged has a lot to do with it. It only comes with 4 pieces of corner foam blocks on the side and nowhere else has support. I think FedEx and UPS throw it around like a piece of luggage at the airport. Even though you can totally tell there is a TV in the box and it should be handled with care. Maybe the packaging is just a target for handlers to ruin it before it gets to you.
If it comes broken again, I will be changing my purchase. Dell customer service was great and the replacements have been overnighted. Maybe third times a charm. I have the small Vizio TV (20")already and it works great so far!

ProsGood picture, easy to set up, good sound. Delivery was fast and Dell was easy to work with.
ConsThe remote was a little hard to figure out in getting to some of the features. I accidently found out how to get to the features at the top of the menu, but after I did, I had no further problems. I still have not figured out how to get PIP (picture in picture). The directions say 'go to parental controls' but that was no help & no further directions are given that I have found. CC (closed captioned) is not easy to get to and I am disappointed in that. Since I use it fairly often, I wish there was a CC button as is on other remotes.

ProsGreat price, 3 HDMI ports, fantastic picture, great built-in speakers if you don't have surround system hooked up.
Conswas a bit nervous about how the TV was going to hold up during shipping but it was totally fine.
Review:Feel like I got a great price for the quality of product. Don't spend hundreds extra just to pay for a more "common" brand name...besides I think Vizio is now owned by Sony.

ProsThis is the best value for a 1080p TV I found anywhere. Very easy to setup and configure. No one else comes close in price for this size and resolution of TV. Look online, I did and this is it.

Title: Excellent bang for the buck!

ProsThis TV has a wonderfully clear picture, we were going from an older TV and I looked at this exact TV in a store prior to purchase. I couldn't see a significant different between this and one costing hundreds more. This TV was PERFECT for us. I wasn't looking for the BIGGEST I could buy, this is excellent for our large living room without dominating the space. I was very pleased with the delivery time and the packing of this item. I would buy this unit/brand name again for the value I feel it was. I feel like my research paid off and I stayed away from wasting hundreds of dollars. Also, this exact unit was considerably more expensive where I saw it in the store, so with free shipping, it was a total deal! Oh, and it comes WITH the HDMI cable, which other units did not and that also save about $35 additionally!
ConsThe ONLY con I have is not really with the product, but the packaging (which I know Dell has no control over). It was a surprise gift for my husband's birthday, and it comes from Dell in a box with the picture of the unit all over the outside. I am glad I had it delivered to my office! :-) Just FYI if this is a surprise gift.
Review:Great value, great product, PERFECT size, would definitely recommend this to people who just want a good dependable unit to watch TV on. It might not meet the standard of a super picky HD guru, but our HD channels come in great and the picture is far superior to our last TV.

Review:Well there is a story on this one. Set arrived and was locked on a set up screen. Box appeared to be re-boxed too. Wow I was fired up but kept my cool. Vizio service was good; and said about 3-5 days to be on site but we discussed it and thought it might be a bigger issue and to return the set was a safer move. So I thought if Dell takes it back with no issues and sends a replacement overnight I will work with them. They did but then shipped TWO sets next day. The FedEx guy and I had a laugh or two. He said "I thought you were some rich guy, and btw you can refuse ship on one of them". I sort of chuckled to myself. No I'll deal with this. Apparently Dell seemed unaware of the duplicate. (I know - my family and friends razed me good too) In the end they made good and unfortunately for them needlessly spent a lot of money on shipping. So if you work with them they put the customer first and will take care of you.

ProsGreat Picture - wish all programming was HD! Simple Setup - connections were a cinch & automatic presets right out of the box were mighty nice. Easy to use Menu - including screen size changer. Good connectivity - regular TV & Video watchers and Gamers should have plenty of connections for their systems and speakers for years to come.
ConsBesides some programming audio being a bit tinny - none.
Review:Quality product, value and service!
Received 1st TV from Dell (3-5 day ground) - there were physical damages making TV unacceptable. Called Dell (late afternoon), received new TV the next business day.

ProsI've had for 3 months, great picture, no problems related to Vizio. Initially there was a setup problem which turned out to have to do with my cable company, & Vizio service was helpful in sorting it out.
ConsSetup & picture adjustments could be simpler, but I got used to them after a while.

ConsOrdered two Vizio 37" TVs. One came with a bad remote receiver (remote itself worked but the TV would not recognize it). So, in my opinion, quality control at the factory isn't up to snuff. It was fixed in about a week but they scratched the screen slightly in the process (not so bad you can see it watching TV). Otherwise, a very nice TV. Only big improvement to the unit I would recommend would be volume normalizing. Going from HD to regular and back has large fluctuations in volume which often is annoying.
Review:At the price, I don't think you can find a better TV in 37" than this unit. It rocks! Hook it up to a decent surround sound receiver (I'm a big Yamaha fan) and you have a rockin' entertainment center. Don't forget some decent speakers (Infinity, Klipsch, Polk not some junky Sony or other low end retail product). Who needs a crowded movie theater?

ProsEasy set up. Seemed a good picture on HD channels, not so good on lower-quality channels. But this is typical of LCD and I had no chance to play with any of the settings.
ConsPicture died after 30 minutes viewing. After six contacts with Vizio tech support, spread over twelve days, they are still refusing to schedule a repair appointment. They show no interest in meeting their warranty obligation. They seem more interested in making me prove that I'm not some kind of fraud.
Review:This TV is probably a good buy -- if you are lucky and the unit doesn't fail. If it does fail, Vizio will not be helpful or supportive in honoring their warranty. Even if you buy from a retailer that will take a return in 30 day, you will be stuck with Vizio's tech support if it fails after 30 days.

ProsThe out of box picture is very good. After fine tuning to your prefrences, the picture is excellent. Good connectivity with 3 HDMI inputs. Hooked our X Box 360 up via HDMI and the picture is outstanding. Even with fast motion, the picture remains clear. Adjustable backlight is a nice feature. Presets are nice, although you will probably tweak them to your preference. **Please note that they also include an HDMI cable with the television, as well as a microfiber cleaning cloth.
ConsOnly one I can find is there are only 2 component video hookups.
