Review:This is the perfect gps for everyday use. The bluetooth makes you legal while driving and talking on the phone. The sound quality is great and set up is easy. screen size is perfect for the car but the touch screen is a bit stiff. over all, you'll be pleased you made the purchase.

Title: So great, I bought another one a week later!
|
Date: September 5, 2009
|
Product Uses: navigation
Review:I love this thing. We were in the middle of relocating and the house hunting was made WAYYYY easier with this. I realized shortly after that I would never see it again, as my wife had laid claim. I bought myself another one only a week later. The blue tooth function is an added bonus and it comes with Lifetime Traffic. It's like have the yellow pages at your fingertips with mapquest standing by. Highly recommend this one.

Title: Solid, Affortable and well rounded GPS!
|
Date: August 6, 2009
|
Review:This is the first GPS of my life and I am regretting not to purchase it earlier! It was so user friendly and very easy to use! The features that come with its are pretty useful, especially the speak street name & traffic avoidance capability. The map is very easy to navigate and I personally thinks that 3.5” is clear enough for me. Overall I am very pleased with this product so far.

Title: Great Unit!
|
Date: July 31, 2009
|
Product Uses: to travel everywhere including in my home area.
Review:I absolutely love this unit. I do alot of travel and unfortunately also have to spend a lot of time on my cell phone. This unit connects via bluetooth to my cell phone and works great. I can access my phonebook easily and make my calls. The quality of sound and reception is great. And the size is perfect to mount in the upper left corner of my windshield and not be an obstacle to my line of vision. LOVE IT!!!!!

Title: Very helpful product
|
Date: July 31, 2009
|
Review:My new Nuvi has been a time saver for me. Late one night traffic was detoured off the highway due to construction. The traffic feature did not give any warning of this. I had no idea where I was and there were no signs directing the traffic on how to get back onto the highway but my Nuvi showed the way and directed me back home.
It's not 100% accurate all of the time. For example, it might tell you to turn left onto a street that is divided by a median, making the left turn impossible. Also, a few times my Nuvi has shown my position to be about three blocks off of where I was at (in areas not obstructed by anything to block the signal and in places where it has worked fine for me before) but after a few minutes it locks on to the proper location. In spite of a rare glitch it may have, I still highly recommend it.
It's also great for telling me exactly how far I have walked or bicycled. I like that it can tell you the exact cost of fuel you have used.
Be on the lookout for deals from DELL. I got mine for $159.99 during one of DELL's two-day sales.

Title: Where To?
|
Date: July 22, 2009
|
Product Uses: to navigate anywhere, boating and fishing, hands-free calling while driving, finding points of interest
Review:Wow, what a great GPS at an affordable price! I'm so glad I waited to get a GPS...this is a winner. The hands-free phone feature is worth the price. The ability to load maps from an SD mini-card is really nice.....can't wait to load the marine navigation maps so I can take it boating across the Great Lake Michigan. I'm certainly not limited by my equipment, so take me away NUVI!

Title: Top notch entry level navigator
|
Date: July 22, 2009
|
Product Uses: navigation
Review:I purchased this based on a price cut at Dell and a review of the product at consumerreports.org. Setup was easy as can be. We have used this all over Alabama and Tennessee and have little or no complaints. I would say that the interface is intuitive and registration on the Garmin web site was a breeze. This unit is extremely helpful for my wife who is sometimes insecure when driving to new locations in another city. It is easy as can be to input an address. Directions are clear and easy. The only issue I have ever had was in a rural area where the navigator kept telling me to jog needlessly. Other than that single issue, this is a great value and a great product. It is also a lot of fun to change the language and/or accent. My mom likes the Australian lady. Great fun!

Title: Great GPS
|
Date: July 16, 2009
|
Product Uses: driving directions, avoiding traffic
Review:Pros I bought this unit for my daughter for her birthday. The setup was really simple and the display was easy to see and use. It came with lifetime traffic which you have to purchase separately on most GPS units. My wife liked it so much that I had to purchase one for her car. We took a trip in my wife’s car and I liked it so much that I gave my Navigon to my sister and purchased the same unit in a widescreen for my truck. The traffic works great and will automatically reroute you if it gets too bad. I would recommend this unit to anyone.
Cons None.
Review I looked around before I bought this unit and Dell offered an exceptional product at an exceptional price. If you are looking for a GPS unit, this is the one to buy.

Title: Works well
|
Date: July 15, 2009
|
Review:I was about to buy a refurbished Garmin 260 when a deal on this one popped up. I purchased it because it has the forever free traffic alert and because the interface has been improved over the 260. Yesterday I was in Atlanta, heading downtown on I-75 on my way to Turner stadium and it showed a significant slowdown on the downtown connector. The unit sent me a different way, avoiding the slowdown. That saved me a significant amount of time and it just happened--pretty cool.
This thing is worthwhile. I'd buy it when it has one of the really-common price declines that Dell does. I paid $180 with no shipping charges.

Title: Great product!
|
Date: June 12, 2009

Product Uses: Travel
Review:I purchased 2 Magellan GPS' and they were not great. They often gave us very weird directions. I purchased Garmin's for family and decided to purchase 2 Garmin's. We love them! Simple to operate, directions are actuate, the size is great. Only small negative thing, the voice of the lady? is strange. But other than the voice, we love the Garmin. Recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Title: Super GPS
|
Date: June 12, 2009
|
Product Uses: Travel, not getting lost!!! lol
Review:This GPS is a super product!! So far we have 2 Garmin Nuvi gps systems in the family. We love the product. The best feature is the fact that it tells you the name of the street to turn on and which way to turn. I am the most directionally challenged person but this product has really helped me find my way around.

ProsEasy-to-use Small enough for a pocket Good-sized screen (not great, though...) Customizable Free traffic reporting that is very accurate
ConsNo compass feature Sometimes recalculates routes in odd ways Occaisionally gets "lost" near the end of a route
Review:It would be nice if the blutooth could be used to hear the turn-by-turn commands. I have the earpiece in place, so why not make the announcements

ProsStreet announcements were clear and early enough to make lane changes. Screen is small but does not obstruct view. We were in the mountains and did lose service at times, but was quick to get us back on track when service was available. Traffic report worked wonderfully, was able to miss an accident that held traffic up for 5 hours. Where Am I map section was easy to see while driving.
ConsCan't think of any.
Review:This is my first GPS, we always fight giving into new technology. This was a life saver for our trip. Had our 4 yr old grandson with us, the restroom/dining feature came in handy. Mapquest tried to send us on a road that really didn't exist and this actually got us where we needed to go (even though it was an unpaved mountain road - we saved 30 minutes driving to a paved road). This is easy to use.
