Review:Great wireless router but it does not support 64 bit Vista so you have to call Netgears tech support line and have them help set it up. Router works great though. Running our desktop, laptop, and Wii with no problems.

Review:This router is very difficult to hook up even with tech support's help. I had my PC hooked up wired with the router and it was running very slow. for gamin its even worse my PS3 was laggin so bad that i was not able to play online (wireless hook up). I had to return it. My old Linksys G router worked way better.

Product Uses: internet wherever i want.
Review:Out of the box and working in about an hour. (I'm a little meticulous about cable routing) No issues at all for set up. Very easy. Have only re-set once and that was after a power outtage. 2500 s.f. two story home. Router installed on 2nd floor. Every room has good signal. Even get signal in my detached 1700 s.f. shop. Range extends at least 150 yards from house. Can not make an educated comment on speed as this is my first wireless router. Seems fast to me. Every bit as quick as my home p.c. on DSL anyway. Price seemed comparable to other "N" routers.

ProsIt looks good and is compact in size.
ConsHave to reset it at least once a day, usually right in the middle of something. Could be my cable modem; however, I only had to reset it when the power went off. I suppose it could be a compatibility problem with the older modem.
Review:I'm not at all sure what it means to "secure" it. The set up steps had to be done several times before it would log on to the internet for the first time.

Consit keep having to be reset .and the port will not open up .when i try yo use my nas200.and the soft ware keep going back to the factorys etting ,cant stay on line with this trash and net gear was no help inthe matter .been calling them since monday 3.16.09.and the tech folks for some reason dont know any more then i do .

Review:Dell suggested this when I called to buy a range booster. Sales rep said it would provide service to the whole neighborhood - Didn't even work on the other side of my house. I was no better than the Linksys 54G I replaced so I returned it and bought the range booster I originally called in to buy. Wow, what a difference.

Review:My old Netgear router was large, clunky, with an antenna that stuck out (and unfortunately was the perfect chew toy for my cats). The WNR2000 is much smaller than the photo makes it appear, with no protruding antenna. Along with the high-speed modem from my ISP, it fits nicely on about a 4" square on the corner of my desk.

ProsI purchased one of these a year or so ago. It has worked great. My daughter purchased one from a Wal-Mart. After hours on the phone with her ISP, it never worked so I ordered another one of these for her. She took it home and like me, had it installed and secured in no time. The instructions and software were a breeze.
ConsNot found any in the past year.
Review:This may cost a little more than some in your local store, but take it from our experience, sometimes you get what you pay for.

Prosat the time i purchased this it was on sale AND i had a coupon so i got a grreat deal from dell. looks cool and seems maybe even a little faster than my previous router. was FINALLY able to get my home network set up with this router! never could with my linksys router.
Consonly thing i can think of is during the installation process i never did reach the final step and i thought "oh boy here we go this isn't going to work", but when i booted everything up it was fine and has worked great ever since so that was wierd but...working awesome thats all i care about.

ConsPrice might be high for some, even with a discount I still paid $70 or so. Yet, for the brand quality I don't mind as much. No job aid or instructions came with package for create a password required connected or limiting access.
Review:This was my first time setting up a wireless network at home. Glad I purchased this model. I did purchase 2 USB wireless WPN111, which is recommended and they were easy to set up as well.
