Title: Great TV for the price
Date: June 7, 2009
Review:We purchased this TV when Dell had such a great price. They beat everyone by $200. The picture and sound are great in our living room. We upgraded to HD satellite and could not be more satified. Looks great and provides many hours of quality TV viewing and gaming with our Wii. Installation was easy and it is so much lighter than our old Sony conventional TV. Would highly recommend this product.

Title: Excellent TV, great value
Date: May 21, 2009
Product Uses: great value, crisp clear picture, intuitive menu, all the possible connections you will need
Review:We are very pleased with our purchase. The picture is crisp and clear and takes up so little space. This TV is rated as a mid- to low-range in the Bravia line but you would need to have them side-by-side to see a true comparison. Sitting in a room by itself, you would only see a high-quality picture. The menu is easy and intuitive to use. We would recommend this TV.

Title: Love This TV
Date: May 20, 2009
Product Uses: Music & Movies
Review:This TV is an amazing value. Dell's service and delivery experience through its delivery partner was very good. Despite being only 60hz, the picture is exceptional and I have never been happier. Local retailers didn't want to deal, but Dell came through. Sony Quality. Dell Service and Value. As they say a one-two knockout!

Review:The best part of this TV is the Built in TV guide feature it come with.. Its much better than one cable box gives. Picture quality of bravia 2 engines is simply awsome. Blue Rays look stunningly clear and even DVD played on upscaled 1080p mode is very crisp...
I got an awesome deal from Dell for 999 on this TV and now its even up so that feels good.

Review:Nice set. Sony got it right and Dell had it at $999.- delivered no tax! Brought to my living room in a sealed box by nice folks. Can't beat that price and the TV is good also. At first I was a goof and thought that it was only OK but I was watching SD channels! Then I woke up. Wow! What a picture! Like people have said. The sound is awesome also. The only thing I wanted was an SD slot in the side which I think I can add? Get this!

Title: Great size, great picture. Very nice looking TV
Date: May 19, 2009
Review:I've had this television for about a month. It replaced a two- or three-year-old 32-inch Viewsonic, which I was very happy with, but I needed a television in a bedroom so decided to move the Viewsonic there and take the plunge and get this larger one for my livingroom.
I like the menus on this much better than the Viewsonic. Getting around and setting up the TV is much more straightforward. The TV is very nice to look at, even when it's off. I like the clear bezel at the bottom and the fact it's not a distracting power light when the TV is on. I wish the black frame was more matte like my Viewsonic was, and surprisingly, the entire Sony television reflects the windows much more (much to my dismay) than my Viewsonic did. The frame is worse for reflection than the screen itself, but my Viewsonic had a great screen for a brightly-lit room. This Sony screen is merely good, not great, in its nonreflectivity.
The price on sale ($999) was less by a couple hundred dollars than I paid two or three years ago for my Viewsonic, and it's 14 inches bigger. The sound is also much better in the Sony than the Viewsonic on the TV alone, but I use a Bose system for surround sound.
I had HD installed upstairs, in the bedroom, too, by the cable company, when I moved my Viewsonic up there. After using HD, I can't imagine going back, it's so much better. I don't game on either TV, just watch regular TV and some movies.
All in all, it's a great TV for me.

Title: Bigger is better
Date: May 6, 2009
Prosupgraded from a 32 inch JVC set and I'm glad that I went for the 46 inch set instead of a 40 inch or 42 inch. My slideshow/DVD look even better now.
Review:I had a limited budget and was disappointed when I missed the chance to buy the Samsung 46 inch 550 for $999 but waited and checked regularly until the Sony Bravia KDL-46V4100 came in for the same price. Delivery was prompt and the purchase procedure was straight forward.

Title: A great deal from Dell!
Date: April 23, 2009
ProsFirst and foremost, this is one handsome TV. I had the chance to use the KDL-46S4100, the KDL-46V5100 and now, in review, and will be the keeper, the V series from last year which is the KDL46V4100. In comparison to the two, I could honestly say that having the 120Hz Motionflow processor would be the most notable difference on this TV's. Any hype, price and whatever terminolgies from contrast ratios, dynamic contrast ratios to 60Hz vs 120Hz and now, even 240Hz are just another way of taking you money. Never understood the term "Opera Effect" with the Motionflow enhanced TV's till I get to take one home and play with every adjustments possible. I personally don't like it too much as it tends to make the film/movie look so smooth, it seems fake and animated.
Then now, I have the V series from last year which oddly enough, was only manufactured March of '09 which is not even a month ago. It has a great display on Standard Definition sources and needless to say HD is just mind blowing. I was a little worried at first after the intitial setup because of a dimmer screen. Dimmer meaning i have maxed out the backlight, brightness and contrast settings of the video adjustments then finally realizing that the Light Sensor on this TV(enery saving purpose that automatically sense ambient light conditions) is On by default. Turning it Off made it all acceptable to my liking. It also has this feature called ACE (Advance Contrast Enhancer) which on my experience on the V5100, made dark scenes darker and the transition to bright scenes would make it very annoying but so far, I have watched the same movies (Underworld 1 & 2) on the very scenes and have not experienced it yet on this V4100. All the connections you can ask for as having 4 HDMI, 3 in the back and 1 on the side along with matching component video for endless connection possibilities. Each every input has its own seperate customizable controls so you can have it adjusted from just about any sources. For example, my DVD Karaoke has a 480i output which has a very obvious degraded picture quality as compared to a Sony HDMI upconverting DVD player and then of course, there's the Blue Ray which is just beyond belief. You might think that "Can it possibly get any clearer than this?" It even has this Auto Wide feature that works with my cable box from Cox that automatically scales your non HD sources to "Full" format which eliminates the black side bars.
The sound compared to the previous two is suprisingly fuller and louder on this set. It does not compare to a fully dedicated surround system (which by the way the S Force surround on this TV only makes the built in TV volume sound weaker) but more than acceptable for everyday viewing. There is so much good stuff to say about this TV and hopefully a little bit of this info helps. This KDL46V4100 is just plain great and I highly recommend it. ConsHeavier than the S series and the present V series. Higher elelctricity consumption as compared to specs on the other TV's. No Motionflow for Pixar movies only.(not a big fan anyways)
Review:I still can't believe the deal I got from Dell being able to acquire this set for $999.00 plus a 4 year warranty for $149.00 with free shipping. Thanks to Dell I get to afford this awesome TV finally. Good luck getting yours!
