Cons* It can take a while to tweak the picture settings to your liking (since there are a bazillion settings).
* It takes a few seconds for the display to screen between SD & HD channels. Not a big deal though.

Review:This replaced an old 27" Toshiba CRT TV. Going from 27" to 52" is mind-numbing (in a good way). Like another poster said, my wife thinks it's too big (that's what she said). However, when she was able to watch 'Lost' in HD for the first time, I didn't hear anymore complaints after that.

I also connected this puppy to my laptop via VGA at full HD resolution, and the picture looked excellent considering it's an analog input. The picture was very clear. I streamed an HD movie over the network on my laptop this way, and it was comparable to Bluray quality. I plan on getting a Popcorn Hour media streaming device soon to go along with this TV.

ProsWe've had the TV for just over a month and I can't say enough good things about it. Price, ease of set up, ease of use, we are very pleased with it.

Review:52" is bigger than we had talked about getting - but Dell ran a special, it was a really decent deal so we ordered it. I asked the lady of the house if it was too big (after we set it up) - the response: yes, but I'm used to it now we have to keep it!

ProsPurchased last October after a year of searching and reviewing other tv's. Dell had best price at time,this is the best tv in my opinion picture,sound,ease of setup,you can't go wrong with this tv.Also purched warranty,wall mount and surge protector,with free delivery.

ProsThe TV was $100's less than I could find one around here. Shipping company was great, Dell was great. TV was a breeze to hook up and the picture is the best I have ever seen.

ProsDell had, by far, the best price I have seen for this model. It was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the regular electronics/big box stores. The free shipping was appreciated. Easy set up, worked great right out of the box; the picture is absolutely beautiful; my husband really loves it too!

Review:Took a little extra time to get this delivered, as the freight co would not deliver after business hours. They did deliver on a Saturday though, and were right on time.

ProsPicture quality is outstanding. I had a 60"Sony XBR (rear projection) and this TV's picture is much better. I watch a lot of football on HD and I have not noticed any motion blur. If watching live sports, I would invest the extra cost in the 120hz model. If using the stretch modes for normal broadcasts, Sony does not have as much of a "squashed" picture as other brands. I use mine on auto mode and the picture is still large enough. I cannot rate the sound since I use a home theater system. Dell's price was $300 less than a big box store and a bigger discount than what Sony was offering. I bought the Chief RLT-1 wall mount and it was very easy to install. I installed it in about 1 hour.
ConsDepending on how you prefer your picture, you will see lighter spots on the corners when viewing dark pictures. This can be adjusted but it makes the picture too dark for my preference.

I orderd two different TVs from Dell and had them shipped to two different cities. The same shipping company waited until the final delivery date to deliver the TVs. Both addresses were about 120-150 miles from a major airport. I called the shipping company on one occasion and was told it wouldn't be delivered until the next week since the delivery truck already came to our city for the week. I also requested they call during certain hours so I could arrange to be off from work which they didn't do. They called on a Sunday afternoon and delivered Monday.
