ProsI love the sound and picture. Makes normal dvd’s look and sound HD
ConsDVD try stopped opening after 2 weeks and 10 movies. Contacted Samsung and they sent a replacemet right away. Great Customer Service.

ProsGreat sound quality with optical.
Easy to use and easy to connect.
Great upscale picture quality on my 1080i TV.
Convenient usb port to view images.
ConsHasn't found one.

Review:Add Samsung SW-A4000 Wireless Rear Stereo Amplifier and it work great with this system.
And there are no cable around..

ProsEasy to setup, crisp and clear sounds, effect when watching regular DVD is nice
ConsDoesn't have HDMI input,
it would be great if rear speakers were wireless but given the price..no complains...

Prosable to connect all my equipment, cost affective
Consthis system is NOT a good system, after two months of use the entire system stopped working, apparently the system overheats very easily, and get it fixed it has to be shipped off that may take several weeks to complete(at own expense), I know that I said it was cost affective, but I guess I got what I paid for.

Review:If I were you I would spend the extra money and get a really good home theater system.

ProsEasy to hook up, it has wireless capability, I do not agree with the others that the tray opens slowly, it opens right away with our system. All in all its a great system and I would buy another one without hesitation. The sound is incredible and it is very easy to use.

ConsI agree with the other reviewer it does take a while for the DVD tray to open, load / read the DVD.

Review:My 1st unit was defective but Dell corrected that immediately. This unit works perfectly!!!! I love the sound and picture, both are crystal clear! I would recomment for HT novices.

Prosgreat sound from the surrounding speakers, beautiful picture from the dvd player, and very easy to setup/hookup.
Conswhat keeps me from recommending this unit is the dvd tray. it takes up to 30 seconds to open. i haven't really looked around to see if there is a firmware update i can get but it is very annoying waiting for the dvd tray to open.
