Title: Works for Me
|
Date: December 25, 2009
|
Product Uses: email, music, streaming video, wireless home networking
Review:I purchased this item, because my family watches a lot of movies online. We have 5 computers (2 desktops, wired; 3 laptops, wireless). They're not always running at the same time, but when one or two are used for watching movies, it's no fun slowing down. We've had the router for about a month now and haven't had any problems. In fact, while I was downloading video, just last night, my family was watching movies on the two desktops. Neither of us had any hang ups.

Title: Poor Quality

Review:This router was referred to me by the DELL sales person. It has not worked properly in 30 days and DELL does not warranty a non-DELL item (surprise)! Nor supports it so DELL referred me to Linksys who charges $9.99 for a one time set up fix even though this was in the first 30 days... This created so many hassles I will not use DELL again.

Title: Not Router Heaven
|
Date: October 8, 2009
|
Product Uses: Connecting with Friends
Review:I was excited to have a router with wifi, however this router has not worked properly since installed and I have reinstalled it twice and it is not working properly yet. I'm at the point of looking for another router. The main reason I went with this one is it was recommended by Dell. I have it disconected and in the box now. I purchased it two weeks ago.

Title: fancy, but ....
|
Date: October 7, 2009
|
Product Uses: Connecting with Friends
Review:The software looks fancy and wired connection is good. But the wireless is extremely slow. After reading linksys forums, I made some changes to the settings, but nothing improved. Then I decided to reset and reinstall the router. Blah the router broke and keeps disconnecting right after a connection is built.

Review:I've always been a Linksys fan. This router was ideal for me because I never know what I might be bringing into the house next and the tri-band capability won me over. In years past, you had to be a network genius to fool with these things...now, they all but set up themselves! I've had a bunch of routers, most of them Linksys. This is the BEST one yet! You'll simply love it. Cheers!

Title: Router Review
|
Date: July 2, 2009
|
Review:Been using it less than a month and haven't given it any acid tests but it seems fine.
There were some issues setting it up which I might have avoided if I didn't use the wizard, or if I hadn't been thinking of how I set up my last wireless router.
Or if the documentation was a little better.
I'm using it with an Okidata laserprinter, old OS9 iMac, Mac G4 and Mac G5 all of which are connected via ethernet cables; and a Macbook Pro and Dell laptop w/Linux.
