Title: Horrendous! Date: March 5, 2009
ProsPretty packaging, and a low profile bracket was provided.
ConsI've spent several hours just trying to get this product installed on a low-profile C521. Despite all the reviews and pre-sales investigation, this card would not work. Installed it, changed BIOS to Auto and Windows would not detect it no matter what. De-installed drivers, re-installed, etc. No dice - the card would not output a video signal nor would the OS recognize new hardware. I had two of these ordered at the same time, so it wasn't a matter of a bad card - both behaved the same and I also had two identical C521 systems, so I went through several iterations to eliminate a potential hardware problem separate from the cards.

Review:I wouldn't recommend this item going forward.

ProsThe Geforce 8400GS 256MB is an excellent card for people with mini-ATX cases. You could not ask for a better card for your money.

Title: Works great on my low profile machine Date: November 25, 2008
ProsPluged in, turnd, on and work right out of the box.
ConsIt would have been nice to get a 512 mb card.

Review:I had been upset about getting a low profile machine a year ago because i could not find a dual monitor solution. This card solved my problems and I'm very pleased with it so far.
