ProsThis system has an excellent neutral sound quality, that complements most music formats, particularly classical music which I most enjoy. It also performs well with the sound streams generated by DVD film media and thereby serves the home theater environment. The system is made up of beautifully styled and well integrated components. The small satelite speakers are the smallest I have ever seen and yet perform better than many larger systems. The small media control console is thoughfully configured and formed. The built-in claibration system works very well and provides a noticable balance for the surrond sound environment. There are many built-in features that deserve mention, but exceed the space available in this forum. This system is a MUST HAVE for integrating audio with new Sony HDTV displays (like the 40V3000), in the small room environments which most people typically enjoy their entertainment centers.
ConsNone really. Additional auxillary inputs on the small control center module would be helpful. But this might defeat the simplicity and elegance of the minimalist design. There are work arounds available, such as the Sony WiFi Client that connects to a special digital media port on the console and is designed to receive wireless transmissions of MP3 files from a local host computer system. The subwoofer component which also contains the amplifier subsystem is adequte for most environments but could probably be a bit more robust.

Review:This is a great product that does not appear to receive adequate exposure. Sony should market this product with greater prominence. I am pleased to see that Dell has included it as part of their extensive and crowded product portfolio. This system is very reasonably priced for the quality received!!!
