Title: Wi-Fi is weak receiving
|
Date: December 26, 2007
|
Prosgreat device, easy to use, easy to set-up, etc.
Consthe Wi-Fi capability is WEAK. One almost has to stand directly over a router to pick up a wireless signal unless you happen to be in an airport, Starbucks or similar net-wired facility. The internal card/antenna needs to be strengthened for better signal reception.

Title: I simply like this little computer
|
Date: December 24, 2007
|
ProsEasy to follow screens, easy to set this up. i bought it for my wife to go to college and had the sync program and her school programs ready to go very very quickly. it's all good!!!
ConsNone really to speak of except maybe i would make the case a full enclosure and not a partial.

Title: Great for a normal user, not for the administrator
|
Date: December 18, 2007
|
ProsGreat product. I never used a PDA before and it was easy to pick it up right out of the box. Software worked correctly with the CDs that came with the unit. Very good for the 1st time user.
ConsAfter reading the reviews I really liked the idea of getting Windows Mobile 6.0 however it comes with windows Mobile 6.0 Classic. Classic is missing some items and It does not come with terminal services (Microsoft's RDP) for example. I really wanted this PDA to access servers at work and get into items like Active Directory Users and Computer and Group Policy Console.
Review:If I really wanted a great tool to keep up with my daily emails and mp3\movies then this would be great. I just need something a little more "meaty".

Title: Windows Mobile 6
|
Date: December 15, 2007

ProsIt was very easy to set up the basics for this device.
ConsThe keyboard covers up too much of the screen when in use. There is a reference to an upgrade to Windows Mobile 6.0 on the box but no other clue about how to get it.
Review:The users guide should be directed more to a novice PDA user.

Title: First PDA
|
Date: November 6, 2007
|
ProsLightweight, durable, easy to use
ConsSound could be a little louder. A lot of times you have to remove the SD card and reinsert it before it will recognize. Active Sync was a little aggravating to get going.
Review:This is a great unit. It works well on all the included apps. The Active Sync is great once you get it configured. I was actually looking for a new mp3 player and for about 75.00 more than a good mp3 player, look what all you get. This was a great value. I highly recommend it.

Title: Great little gadget
|
Date: November 3, 2007

ProsVery easy to use. Great for setting appointments and using to surf the web at WiFi spots.
ConsNeed a newer version of Office suite to sync items on device / computer. If you plan on using an SD card for extra memory, make sure it is formatted in FAT 32 or it won't store items.

ProsNot a Dell Axim. but works just great
Consnone that I can think of....at all
Review:I hope Dell comes out with another PDA, If they do, it would have to outdo, the Axim x51v...and the I-pod ,,,but this one replaced my Axim x50v that was stolen.

Title: Surprise improvement over my Axim x50v
|
Date: October 9, 2007
|
ProsBattery life. Video quality. Wireless Network Connection. Greater system information on the desktop screen. Surprisingly fast processor. Extra telescoping stylus provided
ConsConnection to PC (activesync) is querky. SD Card sometimes needs to be reinserted to recognize.
Review:The A626 has turned out to be a great replacement for my dying Axim x50v. The battery life is amazing, even with wireless running. Wireless connection is a 100% better than the x50v. I've noticed no problems with video and processor speed when playing movies off SD cards using TCPMP.

Title: Best PDA ever
|
Date: October 7, 2007
|
ProsLots of memory, bright super clear screen, light weight. Battery lasts all day.
ConsThis unit needs Adobe Flash player in order to install software on PC. For some reason, after hours of trying and three calls to Adobe tech support, I still cannot get Adobe flash downloaded onto my home PC. I was able to install on my work PC because Adobe Flash was already on board. The catch is I use GroupWise e-mail on the office PC and Outlook (required for Ativesync) are incompatible so syncing up contacts and calendar is a no-go.
Review:Even after all my problems installing the software and syncing issues... I would buy this unit all over again.

Title: Really like it
|
Date: September 24, 2007
|
ProsThis is my 1st PDA and probably the best I could have purchased. Extremely easy to use, battery life seems great. Screen easy to read and you can personalize it easy. I can take it outside to the pool with the wi-fi with no problem. Easy to set up the sync.
ConsAccessories hard to find. Also I can sync everything except media(?), may be something on my end however as everything else sync's just fine.
Review:ASUS tech support could use a little help, e-mailing back and forth is not very effecient, would prefer to call and speak with someone until my problem is resolved. (synching media)

Title: Easier than Palm, friendlier, too
|
Date: September 23, 2007
|
ProsPretty good WiFi range, good, clear screen, nice colors, easy to use. I haven't used the audio yet, but I get my e-mail with no problem, I can organize my task and to-do lists, I can surf the web when I'm bored, and I rather enjoy all the nifty extras. BubbleBreaker is fun, but I'm looking for more games and programs, just to see what else I can do with this. Screen is nice and bright and easy-to-read. Nice backgrounds to choose from, too. Mine came with Mobile 6.0, a pleasant surprise.
ConsMy ThinkOutside keyboard is a bit tricky to use with this, but it could be the batteries. Am currently looking for a nifty case, and will probably need another memory card soon. Not many cons I can think of as of now.
Review:Nice, sleek, light, great battery life, good range. Bluetooth stuff is good, too. Not too tricky to operate, either. I like it! Nice little device!

Title: Wow!

ProsAudio quality is better than my last mp3 player. Windows mobile 6 and 256mb of memory instead of the advertised 5 and 128mb Easy to understand and navigate Connected to my home Wifi easily Bluetooth found a friend's cell phone on the first try Mobile Office
ConsWiFi is a little weak in the distance department Included case doesn't leave room for the headphone jack Hard to find accesories
Review:I haven't attempted to install and use the Active Sync program yet but given the ease i've had doing everything else with this PDA i don't think it'll be a problem.

Title: Great PDA.
|
Date: September 17, 2007

ProsWM 6.0 WIFI connectivity Infared works well for file transfer 256 MB built in works with yahoo email, outlook exchange, msn automatically once account is set up. Don't need IE to access email.
ConsWIFI doesn't seem to be too strong, but adequate. Don't expect to go too far from wireless router if there are other wireless networks around. Doesn't work with youtube (need to look into that further)
