Title: excellent for the price
|
Date: September 29, 2008
|
Pros1. Easy to handle. you dont have to be a pro/geek to explore and use the features. just the right choice for my not so tech savvy parents to click and capture 2. Quick and quality pics. in normal light conditions you dont have to wait long to take the 1st pic. the same holds good for the picture taken back to back so that you do not miss on the qucik funny face after the first click.
Conscannot trasfer the pics to comp without the software. Not really a cons. but i suffered when i had to format my system and did have the cd for a while.

Title: Great, less expensive sub-compact camera
|
Date: September 22, 2008
|
ProsVery compact and light weight. Feels very solid. Tiny battery is much lighter than 4 AAs. Huge view screen. Great image quality. Great video quality. Very good camera for the size and price.
ConsSince the back of the camera is mostly view screen, you have the tendency to hold it delicately to avoid putting finger prints on the screen. The view screen is huge, but the image quality could be better. It is sometimes difficult to determine if the picture you just captured is in focus when reviewing an image due to the sub-performance of the view screen. Doesn't have all the manual features of similar products, but serves its purpose of a small point and shoot.
Review:Bought this because it was one of the least expensive sub-compacts recommended by CNET, but it serves its purpose as an easy-to-carry, lightweight, point and shoot with great image quality.

Title: Good little camera
|
Date: June 10, 2008
|
ProsSmall, thin, good picture quality. Was a great and inexpensive way to step up from my 4megapixel camera. Can just point and shot.
ConsSome of the more advanced settings are not overly intuitive.
Review:Nice camera for under $200. I would recommend.

Title: not as good as I thought
|
Date: June 2, 2008
|
ProsSmall
Consphotos not as clear as the A series.
Review:I read all these great reviews on Dell and Amazon...but to my surprise, I didn't like the quality of the photos. The pictures were not as clear as the A series Canons. I had an A series Canon and wanted something smaller, but sadly it did not even compare to my A series.

Title: GREAT CAMERA FOR THE PRICE
|
Date: May 19, 2008
|
ProsTAKES BEAUTIFULPICTURES AND GREAT VIDEO. EVEN THE SOUND OF THE VIDEO IS CLEAR AND CRISP. GREAT PRICE FOR ALL ITS FEATURES. SOFTWARE PROVIDED IS USER FRIENDLY.ALL BASIC CABLES ARE INCLUDED. RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GREAT CAMERA FOR A REASONABLE PRICE - ESPECIALLY A CANON.
ConsThere are no negatives on this item. I do recommend buying a larger memory. The one that comes with camera is just a small trial one to use for a few pictures and a little video.Battery life is not the best but par for these type of very compact muti feaure cameras.

Title: love this camera!
|
Date: February 16, 2008
|
ProsGreat zooming capabilities awesome quality pictures camera is so easy to use this is the best camera I have ever gotten and I can't believe how inexpensive it is! My mom got one as a gift and I immediately fell in loev with it and bought one asap.
Consthe only thing I could think of was that it comes with a VERY small memory card. You will have to upgrade immeditately, as the memory card included takes only about 15 pictures. I upgraded to the 8GB and that is the best I think.

Title: X-mas gift

ProsGot it just in time for my wife for christmas. Used it for two days straight and the pics were wonderful. Easy to use, has more options then we might ever use, and takes wonderful pics. She has yet to put the book down. It was the right camera for her.
ConsNone so far
Review:Dell came through with it just in time for christmas Cant say enough on the service Dell does. only thing i wish was better was knowing that my order was shipping separately. If your looking for a good camera at a good price, this is the one!!

Title: A good buy
|
Date: September 30, 2007
|
ProsThe picture quality is excellent, and the color very true to life. I have had photos printed in poster size with excellent clarity. Picture uploads are very quick, and the camera is very sturdy. The options on the manual setting can make for some visually interesting and fun photos.
ConsI previously had another Canon camera (short lived, as it had an unfortunate ocean incident). If I remember correctly, it was the 700 model. It had a photo-stitch option that allowed you to take multiple photos in succession (of a landscape, for example), each continuing from where you left off on the last, and then upload them on your computer and make one image from them. I really liked that feature, and it is sorely missed on this camera (oh, the pictures I could have taken of Yosemite!). Nighttime photos are dissapointing and tend to be either too dark or overbright (dependent on whether you are using flash or not), irregardless of setting. Shutter speed sometimes lags, particularly when taking photos without flash, and can result in poorly focused photos (in action shots, for example).
Review:I have had this camera for over a year, and I was considering replacing it (in fact, I was camera shopping on the Dell website tonight). I have become something of a photography hobbyist, and was looking to upgrade. After researching the newer/ higher end models available, I have decided to hang on to mine for a while. I am glad to see that this camera model has held its value, and continues to be popular.

Title: Exceeded expectations!
|
Date: September 27, 2007
|
ProsI've owned this camera only a short while, and am amazed at the brilliant, life-like picture quality it delivers. It makes pictue taking very fun and easy. I love the large L.C.D. and was pleasently surprised to find out it re-formats the picture your viewing depending on which way you turn the camera. I read many great reviews for this camera, and I have not been disapointed. I am very pleased. Dell offered the best deal I have found for this camera by far.
ConsI recomend getting a larger capacity memory card when you buy the camera, the provided card is'nt sufficient.
Review:I innitially was looking at a NIikon Coolpix S6, tough decision, but the right one for me. I'm glad I went with Canon.

Title: Great little camera
|
Date: September 24, 2007
|
ProsI bought this camera to replace my Kodak LS 3 which has a malfunctioning zoom lens. I bought the SD750 after reading several good reviews and was impressed with its features. After getting the camera and using it on a cou-couple of shoots, I found it to have been a good choice. I particualarily like the large viewing screen and it is fairly simple to operate. I also like the panoramic fieature although I find it a bit tricky, but I'm sure I just need a bit more practice. A good buy for the price, easy to handle and carry.
ConsNeed longer battery life.
Review:This is my third recent purchase from Dell. I wish I had been doing business with them long ago.
