I was surprised to learn a couple important details after receiving this item that would have made a significant impact on my purchase.
The primary AC source CANNOT be a line-interactive UPS. All of the APC SU and SUA model UPS's are line-interactive. According to APC support the only NON-interactive devices they make are the "Back" models (home use); this includes power conditioners. You may use these sources as the SECONDARY input; plugging the primary directly into the wall was the only option for me.
Plugging directly into the wall raised additional concerns; it appears this product does NOT provide any surge protection or power conditioning features. Make sure you have a non-interactive inline device to provide these features.
Aside from the mentioned limitations the device has performed as expected. Setup was easy, the 20AMP version has the round L5-20P connectors but comes with 2 adaters to allow connection to standard NEMA 5-20P. The network interface is DHCP by default.
