Title: Adding 1GB to my Laptop
Date: March 25, 2008
ProsIn the beginning, my computer ran much faster, but that lasted only 2 weeks. But hey, this is 1GB of memory so you can't go wrong! I now have 2GB in my system.
ConsAfter a couple weeks of the extra 1GB in my computer, making it now 2GB in my E1505 Laptop, things slowed down to where they were before. A little frustrating as well as disappointing! But if I had to do it again, I would do it in a second. Who wouldn't want an extra GB in their computer? I know things will work out.

Title: Doesn't get much easier
Date: February 26, 2008
ProsThe nice thing is the Dell's "memory selector" helped me make sure that I: 1. Got the right stuff 2. Didn't buy the wrong amount It took less than 5 minutes to do the upgrade and the laptop fired right up!
ConsI wish there was an easy way to get rid of the old RAM to someone who needs it?

Title: 2GB Inspiron 1505 Upgrade
Date: February 13, 2008
ProsTook my XP notebook from 1GB to 2GB. Install was easy AND ordering from Dell was easy. Pricing from Dell was very reasonable. I See an improvement in performance even though I am only running XP.
ConsAbsolutely none.
Review:If you are running with only 1GB, even on an XP system, upgrading now is a good decision.

Title: Amazingly Easy and Dell paid the shipping
Date: January 23, 2008
ProsI dreaded the arrival of the memory recalling the difficulties I had in the past with pulling those little springs apart to get old memory out and then trying to get new memory at exactly the right angle to fit. Installing my new memory in the 6400 was a cinch! Old memory popped right out and new memory slid right in. Turned the 6400 on and it recognized the memory, turned it off and then back on and we were on our way. I see a definite improvement in performance. No doubt about it. At this reduced price its a bargain. Dell sure did something right with this design.
ConsNo cons that I see so far.
Review:If only Dell would replace that defective TSST DVD TS-L632D drive I would be a happy camper. Check the forums to see that there are many defectives. So why does Dell fight replacement so had?

Title: 2Gb Laptop RAM
Date: January 18, 2008
ProsDelivered on time, Easy to install. Included under my Laptop warranty.
ConsNone
Review:Too early to rate reliability, but product quality appears high. For this type of product, if it is problem-free when first used, it should continue to be reliable. It is unfortunate that going from 1Gb to 2Gb leaves you with two useless 512Mb cards.

Title: Should have upgraded months ago!
Date: January 13, 2008
Pros-Easy to install -Immediately notice a difference -No more pages "freezing up" -Pages open so much faster
ConsAbsolutely none!
Review:Dell should not make the 2G optional when purchasing Vista. I was trying to save money but would have purchased the 2G in the first place had I known the 1G was going to slow the machine down so much.

Title: Easy Cheap upgrade
Date: December 14, 2007
ProsEasy to install. Runs much faster on home wireless network. All internet functions have improved
ConsDHL left the package in a snow bank on front steps but everything turned out great anyway.
Review:Installation requires a certain amount of experence with computers. Find a experenced friend to help. The comments on previous reviews with error messages when you first turn the computer on with the new memory is no big deal. You just need to wait for your computer to finish finding the newly installed memory

Title: 2GB upgrade
Date: November 5, 2007
ProsVery easy to change out old memory and replace with new 2Gb memory. On-line directions easy to follow even for novice like me! Noticed significant improvement in boot up/load speed and operations/loading of programs etc. No more problems with locking up or interminable waits for programs and websites.
ConsNone come to mind- should have ordered with this memory originally.
