ProsThis camera is light, and easy to use. On the whole the picture quality is good.
ConsNot good in low light. There is no where to plug in a light for recording in low light. Some problems with picture quality while camera is focusing itself. Blurred. Additional microphone would be good to capture better sound.
Battery life could be longer, but I have not had problem with running out.

Review:I am considering returning this camera to get the next one up so I can do the additional lighting.

ProsVery easy to use. Has buttons on LCD screen and on camcorder. Nice zoom. Very fast and easy to transfer video to computer and to burn dvd's. Fits very nice in my hand (my hands are small) and very comfortable to use. Has nice features and you can choose from different lightings and scene modes. It has a night mode. I also noticed it has an "easy" button for people who aren't electronically inclined. The hard drive is so nice to not have to change tapes or dvd's. You can get to all your recordings so easy. It comes with good software. It comes with usb cables and audio/video cables. Good sound quality.
ConsDepending on the lighting, the picure isn't as great as it could be sometimes...In low lights it does alright (but I expected this since it doesn't have a built in light). In bright lights with some bright colors, it seems to have a hard time distinguishing. If you had big fingers it would be hard to operate the touch screen...luckily I have small fingers.

Review:Overall I'm happy with my buy and by the way...I searched for this camcorder on various stores websights, including stores with low prices....Dell has the lowest price I could find by about $100.00, even when on sale at other stores....You can't beat that.

ProsWe love this camcorder. This is the best one yet. All of the options on it and the zoom. WOW. I wouldn't buy another kind. Can't say enough about it.

ProsSmall, lightweight, easy startup. I love the CD burn option, immediate gratification and very easy to do. The software included is simple to use but for manipulation of videos some people may want to use purchased software.
ConsHard to see LCD screen in some conditions, slow focus under low light conditions. The first event I captured was a recital so it was low light with bright light on stage. I didn't use the Nightshot Plus switch, since I had only had it one or two days used the Easy button. The focus was super slow on the girls coming from offstage and their features were lost in the brightness, colors were washed out. This was probably all due to not using the the manual operation and I think with experience on my part the result would have been much better. In other words operator error!
Still pictures are terrible.

Review:Great product for the price. If I were a professional I probably wouldn't appreciate it but as a mom just wanting videos of my kids and stuff it's perfect!

ProsI was drawn to the hard drive capabilty of this camera - makes life easier not having to fumble around for additional tapes or cd's. The ease with which you can change from video to still photos is an added benefit. Very easy to burn to a cd with the touch of a button on the docking station. Computer interface is a breeze.

ProsThe Camcorder is easy to use. Was able to record movies right away. Shape and size are excellent fits easily into the plam of my hand. Also like the ease in which I can record a DVD. It is easy to copy to my hard drive so I can use it to make movies of my family. Am enjoying everything about the camera. I have also recommended it to my friends.
ConsThe only con is the quality of the still pictures The pictures are not as sharp as I would like.
