ProsHeadset was awesome. Clear crisp sound. Very versitile as it can be used with many devices. The headset come with mutiple adapters,
ConsThe micro phone did not work very well. Friends say could not hear me hardly at all and I was practically yelling when speaking. I double and triple checked my computer settings and all were turned to max just so they could barely hear me

Title: Cheap product Date: December 26, 2008
ProsI don't know.
ConsI purchased this product for my son in Nov. On Christmas eve, we opened it and as he tried them on a screw holding one of the headphones on broke.

Review:Called Dell for a return, but it was more than 21 days. Manufacturer wont cover it because they say it was physically broke. Buyer beware!

Title: turtle beach headset X-52 Date: June 9, 2008
ProsI purchased this headset three weeks ago and I am overall please by it. Good quality sound, Comfortable ear pads.
I don't use all the audio jacks that came with it since I don't use the surround features.
ConsThe mike boom is a little short. I like to have the mike right in front of my mouth.
The adjustable head strap should have been built to accomodate smaller people too.

Review:My audio jacks are in front of the computer tower so it's easy to unplug them to revert to computer speakers. But I agree that the folk with the audio jacks in the back have a hard time reverting to computer speakers. So there should have been an On/Off switch.

Title: Good Sound Poor Build Date: October 31, 2007
ProsSound quality is awsome, I play alot of shooter games such as Battlefield 2142 and the sound is spectacular. Inline volume adjustment is nice. fairly lightweight and comfortable on your ears
ConsCHEAP build, the swivel points above ear cups are very weak and both broke within the first 2 months I had the headset.

Review:Good sound good all around headset for the price, but be prepared to buy a new set every few months

Title: Very Cheaply Made Date: October 9, 2007
ProsI have to admit, the sound was great on these. As a gamer, I loved them. They were a little warm, but they shut out the outside noise quite nicely, while giving you great surround sound.
Cons1. The microphone went out shortly after the first week of use. I could not get it to work for anything after it failed.
2. The face plate for the volume control fell off in my hand after the second week.
3. It is a real inconvenience to keep pulling out your tower to keep hooking up the headphones to the sound card, then unhooking them to put back the external speakers.
4. After a month, I was putting on and adjusting the headphone for a night of gaming, when the plastic broke holding on the left earphone. In the shock of things, I gripped the right earphone a little tighter, when attepting to catch the left earphone, when the right side snapped off in the same place. The earphones are only attached to the headpiece by wires now. Very, very cheap plastic.

Review:Overall, I'm used to going through earphones regularly. But this product, I will never buy another like it again. Making me wonder if I made a good decision not to buy the 5.1 surround sound soundcard made by Turtle Beach when purchasing these headphones. I know it isn't a good comparison, but if they make the sound card as cheaply as these earphones, I would have been in trouble.

Title: WOW Players Great for Teamspeak! Date: June 19, 2007
ProsThis is an affordable headset and very versatile. Surround feels like your in the game! Recommend!
Extra long cord and perfectly placed microphone. Very easy on the ears for long hours behind Warcraft!
ConsUnfortunately I have a tower that sits under my desk and switching out my external for headset is not the easiest..WISH SOMEONE in the electronics world would create a dip that would sit on your desk to control between external and headset to support 5.1 or even 7.1 Surround! PLEASE!!

Title: Ear Force X-52 Date: May 17, 2007
ProsGood sound. Price is equal for the quality of this device.
ConsEar cups are not comfortable. Be assurred within an hour adjusting the ear cups will be necessary. Upon connecting this device use of the computer speakers is void. There is no "switch" or button to revert back to your computer speakers. You must disconnect this device each time you want to use the computer speakers.

Title: Gaming & stereo sound at a new level Date: April 10, 2007
ProsSound is unbelievable. Read the product review on the web site. They are very high quality. These crank out some really quality sound even when i plug into my stereo. Many adapters included no matter what your use. For the price you won't get a better pair then these !
ConsEarphones are cozy but very warm on ears. Durability has always been an issue with me on any pair i buy. These appear that they will only last 2 years at the most as far as the padding goes.

Title: Ear Force X-52 PC Headphones Date: April 9, 2007
ProsAs a gamer this an an excellent set of headphones - the overall sound is clear and crisp, the whof/base is amazing, and the surround sound options is for real. The construction is solid, head wear is very comfortable (for many hours at a time), the mic location is perfect and with black and chrome colors an excellent design appearance.
ConsThe supplier should provide a utility case for storage of the multiple connections that come with the product to reduce the chance of losing hardware connections.

Title: Gamers Delight Date: March 5, 2007
ProsI am very pleased with the X-52. They have great sound, especially the Bass! You really do get surround from these headsets. I have noticed subtle background and surround audio that I have not heard using other headsets. The microphone audio is clear and the boom is unobtrusive when used. The ear cups are very comfortable and I have used these for 6-8 hours at a time.
ConsI would appreciate a set-up CD/DVD/utility that would allow level-setting and testing of each channel and any combination of channels.
