ProsI have to admit, the sound was great on these. As a gamer, I loved them. They were a little warm, but they shut out the outside noise quite nicely, while giving you great surround sound.
Cons1. The microphone went out shortly after the first week of use. I could not get it to work for anything after it failed.
2. The face plate for the volume control fell off in my hand after the second week.
3. It is a real inconvenience to keep pulling out your tower to keep hooking up the headphones to the sound card, then unhooking them to put back the external speakers.
4. After a month, I was putting on and adjusting the headphone for a night of gaming, when the plastic broke holding on the left earphone. In the shock of things, I gripped the right earphone a little tighter, when attepting to catch the left earphone, when the right side snapped off in the same place. The earphones are only attached to the headpiece by wires now. Very, very cheap plastic.
Review:Overall, I'm used to going through earphones regularly. But this product, I will never buy another like it again. Making me wonder if I made a good decision not to buy the 5.1 surround sound soundcard made by Turtle Beach when purchasing these headphones. I know it isn't a good comparison, but if they make the sound card as cheaply as these earphones, I would have been in trouble.
