Review:You can't beat this setup for the price. Very easy to connect. Only takes a few minutes. Sounds great. If you're not happy with the speakers you have, but don't wanna shell out a bunch of cash, give these a try. I highly recommend them.

Review:speakers are easily mounted to the wall or free standing, good sound, easily operated and connected. the only draw back is the wires are not long enough to enable placing the speakers properly for good surround sound.

ProsThe speakers were easy to setup and configure. There is a volume control with a headphone jack. Sound is very clear and fills the living room. We have watched several movies and the surround sound really makes it a much more enjoyable experience.
ConsSpeaker wire length are too short for most installations. All the wire lengths are barely long enough install this in a dorm room, let alone a living room. The wire length on the remote is also too short.

ProsA good value upgrade from cheaper a 2-speaker set for everday music and gaming. Has good quality sound for the price, and sounds aren't noticeably distorted at highest volumes. Doesn't get so loud that your neighbors in adjoining apartments will threaten to evict you. It definitely made playing games and watching movies more fun.
ConsDoesn't have the highest wattage, so the bass and volume is limited. Prepare to have wires all over the place. As long as it's wired, it would be nice if the wires, especially those for the speakers in the back, to be longer.
Review:The Matrix feature allows simulated surround sounds from a low-end 2 channel sound card, but it isn't true surround sound. If all you have is 2-channel sound card (i.e. one green output plug), there are probably better and cheaper speakers out there. If you have a nice, 3 channel sound card, you'll be able to use this to its full potential. However, it is my impression that those of you with really nice sound cards would probably want speakers with better wattage and features. This is good for the more frugal who want the 3D sound but don't feel the need to empty the bank or the neighorhood with some very loud bass.

ProsThey look nice on the desk? Sounds great with songs that have NO bass whatsoever.
ConsThis is the second set I've purchased. First set had tons of static in the left speakers. This set? Ok until I put in something as mellow as Boney James and the speakers sounded horrible with the bass. And I didn't even have the bass turned up at all on the speakers or on the equalizer on the computer. They rattled and muffled. The volume? Don't bother turning the volume up because after a certain point, they don't get any louder.
Review:Very disappointed and it's too much of a hassle to box them back up and return them. I bought them so I wouldn't have to buy a stereo. I'll be purchasing a stereo very soon.
