Title: I think it's better Date: April 29, 2009
ProsEasy to install; simple upgrade
ConsNo instructions in the box, No obvious improvement in performance based on my computer usage

Review:With so many video cards on the market, I'm not sure what makes this one any better than others. I found alternatives for sale al local stores for less, but I don't know how to compare them anyway.

Title: How much is this thing? Date: January 6, 2009
ProsI have an older dimension 2350
I did the Dell diagnostic review to see how I could speed up the computer and graphics. Dell suggested the only two upgrades were buy this graphics card at $139 and buy another 512mb memory for $28. I got the memory clicked in real easy and notice a slight increase in speed. More able to open programs a little faster. The Card is a 256mb card and I now see 512 cards for $50 how can this be? Did I get ripped off paying $139 for a 256mb? Also my friend said that my older flat screen monitor (from 2003) cannot handle what the card can put out. That the old serial connectors are analog and cannot handle higher resolution. I feel a little duped by Dell. I think that should have been better explained and if there are 512mb cards by the same manufacturer being sold by other retailers for $50 I think I was ripped off.
ConsThe graphics card could use a little better instructions on how to install. Had to squeeze it into a PCI slot by shifting other things around... Didn't explain what all the extra adapters were for. Still don't know. Would have liked documentation on how it will affect an older machine like mine.

Review:If you need a 256 MB graphics card this one costs less and performs just as well as more costly ones.

Title: Replacement graphics cardq Date: May 21, 2007
Prosworks well with my current system setup, and was easy to install.
Consnone so far.

Review:I bought this card as a replacement after losing my graphics card. I researched what would be a suitable replacement on the dell.com website and found this one. The card arrived fairly quickly through courier service and since installation I have had no problems with my system.

Title: Radeon X1300 Graphics Card Date: May 19, 2007
ProsVery easy to install, all parts were shipped nothing was missing.
ConsYou must know your computer configuration, I had a bit of trouble trying to find which program i needed to shut off in order to get the new video card to work

Review:This was a good buy for me, I'm not a computer superuser and I was able to install the graphics card and get it to work in under a hour.

Title: Two monitor Date: May 17, 2007
ProsSupports 2 monitors. I will be trying Red Hat Linux over the week end.
I do not do any graphic intensive work on it.
Dell sold me a mother board that will not support the PCI-16 cards so I had to use PCI.
I wish when new technology comes out that a big not would be made about the future of that technology.
ConsNone noted

Title: X1300 with Dual Monitors Date: April 9, 2007
ProsIt works well with my software/hardware setup.
I purchased this card to improve the display speed of Google SketchUp and it does. Additionally, I have two monitors setup side by side to act as one large 2560 x 1024 monitor. The card, supplied cable adapters and drivers support this configuration.
ConsNone
