Title: Canon PIXMA easies refill Date: February 23, 2008
ProsI like the way PIXMA individual ink tank. I had a PIXMA i8500 before and this one is similar with 8 ink tanks. Very few printer manufacturer put these many ink in, let alone individual tank. I have several printers from Epson, Lexmark, HP but they all end up in the trash, except my two Canon.
ConsDon't print CD.

Review:With this printer, I can purchase inks by the gallon. Refilling ink is easy. Have you ever try to refill those ink tank with multiple colors, or those from Lexmark or HP? So messy!!!! Never work rights. Lucky if I get two or three time refill and then the cartrige becomes useless. Between my first i8500 and now this Pro9000, I print alot of photo 8x10, 13x19, and those 4x6. Hundreds per day. I replaced the head on my older i8500, because I let it run dried. On top of each tank, there is a little hole covered by the plastic. Use a sharp edge and cut off the plastic which review a plastic ball covering the hole. Use a tiny screw (those supply by ink fill kit) and careful screw into the ball about half way in, then just pull it out. Take a siren and squirt the ink into it. Push the tiny ball back into it. DO IT OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!! Don't even have to take the tank out of the printer head to do it. Refill all 8 tanks less than 2 minutes.

Title: PIXMA Pro 9000 Date: August 29, 2007
ProsThe Canon PIXMA Pro 9000 is a good printer and the quality of color is very sharp. I've only had the printer a few weeks and I am still in the learning stages. Be aware that to replace the individual printer inks can be VERY costly. This is an expensive printer and can be costly to maintain.
ConsI'm disappointed that the advertising of "prints up to 13" x 19" is a misleading statement. While it will print 13"x19", it will not print on 11"x14" paper which is a standard photo print size. It also prints rather dark. The color is sharp, but I find I must do a lot of adjusting of color in Adobe before I get the results I want.

ProsThis printer is well worth the money! The quality is the best I have ever seen for an inkjet printer! You will love it.
ConsI bought 3 other printers that I didnt care for before I decided to spend this much on a printer.
