ProsFirst it's a lot smaller and easier to carry than my Inspirion. ( I used to say I had the worlds Largest MP3 Player.) I am able to use our Free NAPSTER to GO subscription. I can't on my daughter's 8 GB.
ConsNot having much to compare it to; My only complaint is no playing while hooked to USB port.

ProsSmall size, 2GB capacity good
ConsHeadphones didn't work right from the start one side out, Screen was washed out, had a friend who had one, he liked it,and the screen looked good on his, good contrast. After two months one audio channel went out.
Review:Looks like I won't bother with Sansa brand any longer.

Title: Great Little Player

Review:This is a great little player. I have used it for a couple months now and it has not had any significant problems. I did have to upgrade the firmware shortly after I bought it in order to get it working with Vista, bit otherwise no other problems. I have used it both for Music and Books on MP3. It works great for both. I have really enjoyed having it and would buy it again. I am not audiophile but I think it is a great buy.
My only real gripes, as mentioned above are the proprietary cables and headphones. I ended up buying a separate car charger and Wall adapter for about $10. I am also getting new headphones as the one that come with, while they sound fine are open style earbuds. As a result they do very little to block outside sound which is very distracting.

ProsI like the compact, sleek look, as well as the quality of the sound.
ConsThe device is very difficult for me to navigate and it has taken me three hours to get the music to the device. The instructions aren't clear. It is very difficult for me to understand. The converter disc is totally useless.
Review:I am extremely disappointed with this item and I hope that I can get a refund. I bought two based on the reviews that I read from this website. There should be an automated tutorial to guide you through.

ProsI bought this so that I could download and listen to books through my library system. I've had my Sansa for a month and I'm on my third book. It is easy to use- simple and straight forward.
ConsThere have been some sound quality issues- a scratchy kind of sound on one "track." It would be nice to have an armband or case since having it hang on the lanyard can sometimes get in the way of what I'm doing.
Review:Great value especially since I was able to hit on a 50% off promotion!

ProsLots of features compared to other products in this price & size range. The full color screen is stunning and surprisingly crisp and quick for viewing. I love being able to see what song is actually on when I cannot remember the name of it or its been randomly loaded from my family's collection. Being able to switch to the radio is great when jogging and I have even used the voice recorder to leave myself notes!
ConsIt pretty much requires you to get the armband accessory unless you just want it hanging around your neck. The armband though is completely worthwhile and comfortable!
Review:I'd definitely recommend this product. Its proven very sturdy having been dropped and even stepped on already.

ProsSmall: easy to toss into pocket or purse! Screen: see whats playing easily! Recorder: makes leaving yourself memos fast and simple! Control buttons: spaced enough apart so that adult fingers don't end up pressing things they didn't intend on doing! USB: SUper easy to connect to a computer and download music and pictures! Excellent price for a 2G unit!
ConsBattery life a tad less then they claim....closer to 12-13 hrs, but that's good enough for your average day. Just recharge at night! Pictures look a tad grainy on the screen...so if you are into pictures on your MP3, this guy isn't the best for that! IT COMES IN THE LOCK MODE OUT OF THE BOX.....YOU HAVE TO UNLOCK IT TO USE IT! ( HOLD MODE IS ON !) I was ready to throw it out of the window because it kept telling me locked....ug!)
Review:I bought the speaker system that Dell sells for this unit, and other Sansa's. WOW! Worth the money! The speakers make this little MP3 sound awesome, even in a large room!
