Title: I guess it's going back Date: August 18, 2009
Review:It worked great for about 30 days, now it just turns on! Set up disk is a joke, pictures of a pigs in a pin would have been more useful and entertaining. I was able to get good set up info online and it went very well, up and going in about 5 minutes. Now, whatever the problem is, it will reboot but not except set up info or update. Checking into returning and trying again.

Title: rocks with openwrt Date: February 27, 2008
Pros- OpenWRT support
- price
- flexibility with OpenWRT firmware
ConsLacking gigabit or wireless N, but it's 1/3 of the price of the wrt350n.

Review:It only takes about 5 minutes to turn this box into an awesome vpn-server/client-firewalling-bandwidth-shaping wireless router by replacing the linksys firmware with OpenWRT 7.09 (Kamikaze). OpenWRT is an incredible platform especially compared to less open firmwares like dd-wrt. I have about 10 of these in production and they've been working great for the last year.

Title: Versatility Date: September 4, 2007
ProsIncreadable is the only word that can describe the feature rich router. From the QoS to the 802.11g with radius server, this router beats hands down every other wireless router I have owned.
ConsIt does not cook my breakfast, but then I don't think I want it to its probably not a good cook.

Review:Love the Open Source Linux

ProsI can acsess the internet even if my hubby is on the regular PC. I can sit anywhere in the house. Easy to set up and the greatest comfort I can lock out acsess to it with password protection. I recomend this one.
ConsI'm a bit slow on how some of this all works, but with the help of the tech support I'm get-in er done. So no Cons with the product.

Title: Zippy, Easy and Secure Date: May 4, 2007
ProsLow profile form factor, high security, Easy to install ( so simple the folks over at the CNET Groove blog used this to enhance thier current wireless setup.)
ConsThe color scheme is sort of dull. and the whole antannae idea seems outdated.

Review:We love this router, it supports our entire house without any reduced capacity and seamlessly updates when we add a new system.

Title: WRT54GL Wireless-G Router with Open Source Linux Date: April 20, 2007
ProsThis was cheap and I bought it because the internet provider guy said to buy just some wireless router, "like linksys" so I did. It was about $60 and I got what I paid for. It was easy to set up, and both computers say they are ready.
ConsThe computers are ready, but the box doesn't function at all. Am now using it as a wired router, with a $2500 computer which is rigged up for everything, and an equally set up desktop. Nothing. Both computers say ready, but the stupid box won't work. Basically it is a piece of garbage. I would maybe recommend to someone I didn't like.

Review:I have spent literally at least 30 hours just trying to get this stupid box to work, literally all day some days, which really is a drag, cause I don't get anything else done. If I counted my hours, and frustration I have spent on this useless piece of garbage, I could have bought the most expensive one and been done with it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is just something to fill the dumpster with. Totally useless!!!!

Title: WIRELESS ROUTER Date: February 12, 2007
ProsINSTALLATION IS EXTREMELY EASY AND THE "WIZARD" PROVIDED TO CONFIGURE ALL DEVICES ON THE NETWORK IS VERY SIMPLE AND WORKS PERFECTLY
ConsUNRELIABLE TO THE POINT OF BEING UNUSABLE- THE ROUTER DROPED OUT CONSTANTLY AND SOMETIMES REQUIRED MULTIPLE RESETS TO GET WORKING AGAIN. SO BAD IT WOULD BE UNACCEPTABLE FOR EVEN THE CASUAL HOME USER BUT TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE FOR OUR SMALL BUSINESS. WE GAVE IT TO THE RECYCLE PEOPLE AND REPLACED IT WITH A 3COM THAT HAS NOT DROPPED OUT ONCE IN MONTHS OF USE. FOR ONLY A FEW DOLLARS MORE, IT SAVES HOURS OF FRUSTRATION.

Review:WE'VE USED LINKSYS PRODUCTS FOR YEARS IN WIRED NETWORKS AND ALWAYS FOUND THEM TO BE COST EFFECTIVE AND RELIABLE, THEREFORE, THOUGHT WE WERE GETTING A RELIABLE COST EFFECTIVE PRODUCT. GREAT DISAPOINTMENT
