ProsI love my PDA!!! I had been researching many PDA's for about six months or more. This PDA, has the most memory, the main reason I purchased this specific one. I like all the features it has to offer. I have had two other PDA's and this one is the best. The calender lets you look at four different views, one day, one week, one month, etc. The computer can be used to add different appointments or the PDA itself. It is easy to download and sync. I have not ever had so much fun creating resources for work that I could carry in my pocket.
ConsI am still learning about what it can do. I am a visual person, would have liked to have had the users guide in booklet form instead of needing to find it on the computer.

Review:I love my PDA!! I will not need to buy a personal planner this year.

ProsWi-Fi, bluetooth and beaming systems work great for transferring data and going onto the web to view websites or check email. Long battery life.
ConsCame with a flimsy cover that broke off at the hinge/seam. Needs a better cover/protector.
Miss the graffti (letter writing practice game) which came with past palm pilots.

ProsThere is so many pros with the PALM TX! I have had it for almost a year now! It is awesome. Palm has great customer service. I love reading books and doing my home work. I have the wireless keyboard, makes like a mini laptop totally awesome!!!!

You must buy this if you have the money!

ProsI am a volleyball coach and I recently ordered my Palm TX to run a volleyball stat program for my matches. The handheld is so easy to use and it is saving me so much time. I am able to input information much faster than I thought I was going to be able to. The screen is decent and, although I haven't used it yet, I love the wireless and bluetooth capabilities that make transferring data much easier. I plan on using it for much more than my stats.
ConsIt powers down after a very short time even when the battery is completely charged.
I am still learning if there is an easier way to exit programs, like on windows.
I am still learning how to use it and have found nothing that makes me wish I didn't get it or oder a different type.

ProsEase of use. Screen is a nice size for viewing email and pictures.

ConsThe unit will not read the memory card. It recognizes the card but will not read the data. That is a real disappointment since it keeps me from access the number if files I need to access. I prefer the LifeDrive because of the harddrive space but after it was stolen, I replaced it with thiis because of the price.

Review:Given the choice again, I would go with the LifeDrive model althoiugh this unit is good. If the card reader worked, this would be a a lot better. It is average compared to other PDA's

ProsI really like the screen size and clarity. It's very easy to read. This product is new to me I had an Axim pocket pc before and really loved the product. The tines broke and can't be replaced. I notice in the Palm then area to plug is a heavier metal connection. More sturdy then the Axim connector. The Palm TX come with an excellent program for syncing with my dell pc. The sync is quick and downloads are easy. I also got the keyboard for this product. It's okay.
ConsThe programs don't move like in the Dell Axim pocket pc. I'm used to windows and the easy maneuvering between programs. There's no back arrow and you have to get out of the program before moving on to another.

Review:I am new to this product and I need to work with this unit for a while. I'm sure that it will grow on me.

ProsOut of the box easy to use. Downloads quickly. I use Oracle calendar not Outlook and haven't had any problems synching. I listen to music, read digital books, show photos, check email, play games, and edit documents on this device. The only thing I wouldn't do is surf the web - screen is just too small for the clutter of web pages. (But I do it in a pinch.) I have beat up this little device for almost 2 years and it is still working fine - even with the teeth marks from my cat gracing the corners.
ConsSee above re surfing the web...that's about the only thing I don't use it for.
