Review:Excellent product. I did not use the supplied software as I set this up as an access point, so I cannot comment on software setup. I have excellent coverage of my entire home with excellent wireless speed and have not lost any wireless signal. Would definitely recommend this product.

Product Uses: wireless freedom
Review:I love this. My whole house is WiFi now, even my WII. I can download games and points for my WII online. Love it. My family comes over with their laptops and we have coffee. It's like an Internet Cafe' at my house. Totally love it. Set up was a breeze with the wizard. It is always available. Other people have talked about problems with range, but I have no problem with this product. Covers my entire house and yard. We can compute by the pool. Love it.

ProsThis is a great router. I had a Netgear router before and liked it. This one is stronger and I really like how everything just plugs in and you go. Would buy it again. ConsI could not set up the router by myself because I have satelite internet service with VOIP and the manual didn't show that setup. I called Netgear and had to be sent over to Netgear with Dell. I wish that would have been explained sooner as it would have saved a lot of frustration.
Review:Netgear at Dell Support was really good and had me up and running in just a few minutes. No problems since.

ProsWireless range is great. it maintains speed and it was a great upgrade from my Linksys router WGRT54S that kept bumping me off the network. I had to reset it many times and it was frustrating. I have 2 iPhones, 2 laptops, PS3, Nintendo DS and 2 PC's and they all work great without losing speed. ConsNone.

Review:I bought this to replace my Netgear Wireless g router that had gotten damaged in a storm. The signal on this router is way stronger than my previous WGR614 v4 model. Configuration was super easy and performance is great.

Title: Hard to Install, Easy to Use
Date: October 11, 2007
ProsIt is very easy to use, because once you get everything hooked up, the hard part is over! The most work that you have to do with it is only hooking it up, after that every thing is fine! Works good! ConsI found it extremely difficult to set up! My connection wizard did not go well! I had to do the whole entire installation over the phone with a technical engineer! Which was fine though, because then I knew and know that I did everything exactly correctly!! There was very, very much information that you had to know to hook this up! If I was setting it up on my own, I would not know at all where to get that information from!! It was a very long and detailed installation! I found it to be a real pain! But, after all that, I enjoy the product! It does work good, but one more thing: it says it has 500,000 square feet of roaming but, I don't know about that?! My mom lives 3 doors away from me and I could not connect to the internet at her home at all! I don't know what is up with that?! But, overall, I am very, completely happy and satisfied with this product!! I love being wireless, period!! Thank God for the invention of notebooks and wireless technology!!
Review:Good product!! I would definitely reccommend this to anyone looking for wireless options!! Has a great price and works good! It does what it was created and purchased to do!!

Title: Great Router!
Date: September 24, 2007
ProsEasy installation, clear directions, great signal in all the rooms in my house, and it had a button to shut off the lights when you did not want to see them. ConsIt must be installed on a computer to work, instead of being able to connect using only a modem.
Review:For the price, I got a little more than I paid for.

ProsGreat Range, speed and the look. ConsInstallation - I had read reviews previously about the hardships people had faced with this product but really wasn't sure if it was true. I consider myself an advanced user and this product took me about half a day to install and get working correctly. However, this is most likely something that won't be true for everyone. Depending on your ISP and required settings, setup may be quick and easy. My first issue was the setup wizard telling me my connection had a static IP, which I knew to be incorrect (bypass the wizard, trust me!). After the fact I found that Netgear has a comprehensive ISP list on their website; I recommend if you have doubts about your connection that you reference this first. I also encountered issues with the DNS and MAC settings. My ISP had this information and I would recommend checking with them regarding this information before beginning set up.

Title: Awesome Product!
Date: July 17, 2007
ProsNot only does the Router have a nice range and allow us to even set out on our porch and surf the net if we want... it's also very pretty, I love the white & pretty blue lights! Very attractive.
Review:This was my first time going Wireless so I had no idea it was this great or I would have ordered the Router much sooner! After placing my order then reading the reviews a few of them had me a little scared that I would have trouble installing the Wireless Router but I am very pleased to say I had it hooked up, installed & ready to go in as little as 20 Minutes!! And like I said, this was a first time for me!

Title: Best router

Title: Netgear customer service is great
Date: June 19, 2007
ProsThe router is trouble free and provides exactly the range and options as advertised. ConsInstallation is not as easy as the directions state. The trouble shooting does not list all variable that could be the problem. I was 3 hours into installation before I called Netgear support. They did a great job of helping . Just call them to begin with and youll have no problems

Title: faithful access point
Date: May 19, 2007
ProsThis has proved very reliable and has delivered a consistent connection throghout my house and back yard. I have not had one dropped signal requiring some sort of reboot in the 8 months I have owned it. ConsThe blue lights on top seem like a spaceship, as if the 'mothership' has landed. But there is a switch to turn the light off.
