ProsLightweight, sturdy, and easily adjusted. Also easy to level with attached bubble device.
ConsTo attach device to tripod, a small base plate must be removed from the tripod, attached to device then reattached to tripod. If you only use one device, camcorder for example, this is a very fast way to set up, just leave plate attached to camcorder. However I also use a digital camera and a spotting scope. This requires constant swapping out and also making sure you remembered to bring device with base plate attached, or constantly swap them out.

Review:If optional extra base plates were available, changing from one device to another would then be very quick! By keeping one attached to each individual piece of equipment, swapping or even using more than one tripod, would be a breeze. (like at a wedding, swapping from camcorder to digital camera, with tripods prepositioned in key locations.)

Title: Good Choice for My First Tripod~ Date: April 14, 2008
ProsIt came with a carrying bag, which is very nice. It is easy to set up, still getting familiar with it. I have used it 3 or 4 times. I have bought less expensive tripods for my daughter and this one is SUPERB compared to them. The legs are not "wobbly" like cheaper ones. I have used it with my Sony CyberShot DSC/H-7.
ConsI would have preferred it came with instructions.

Review:It has a level indicator to let you know if your camera is sitting level on the tripod. I apologize for the wording, I'm new at leaving reviews. I hope everyone can understand what I am trying to say. (smile)

Title: Bought it for my Canons Date: January 14, 2008
ProsThis is my first tripod. The price was good and it has good range of motion. I don't use the tripod too much. The Canon bag that came with it was nice. It worked on my SLR, point and shoot, and camcorder.
ConsNone so far.

Review:If I was a pro and used a tripod everyday, then I would have bought some fancy and expensive tripod.
