Title: Good Buy for Older Inspirons Date: July 10, 2007
ProsGood Sound Quality.
Only choice for Laptops.. other than USB cards.
ConsNothing serious noticed.. When I plugged-in the headphone, expected other output to be slient.. but had to power-off the speakers.
Should have come with more cables...

Review:Well this product here really got unfair ratings .. mainly due to dell failing to mention that it will not fit into their new inspirons.
I use it with my Inspiron9300 and Logitech X540 speakers.. And I am pretty satisfied.. Wish I had better speakers though..

Title: PCMCIA Audigy 2 ZS Notebook Sound Card Date: May 20, 2007
Review:This PCMCIA sound card WILL fit older Inspiron models. Creative will be releasing an X-fi Audio Notebook sound card any day now which should fit, and be compatible with the newer Inspirons that have the ExpressCard slot.

Title: PCMCIA Sound card Date: May 16, 2007
ProsThe card was very easy to install but on a Latitude it needs an extra push to get it to seat properly.
ConsI don't feel the help files are very explicit when it comes to explaining something

Title: BE CAREFUL Date: April 27, 2007
ConsMost likely if you have just bought an INSPIRON or planning to buy one this card will not fit. Also DELL does not tell you about the express card format. Right now its a waiting game until someone makes a express sound card. You would think that if DELL was shipping tons of computers with the express card format there would be a sound card available. Creative Labs say there are no plans at this time to making one.

Title: Don't buy for Bose Companion 5 Speakers Either Date: April 21, 2007
ProsNone
ConsDoesn't work with the card slot of the Inspiron or Bose Companion 5 Speaker System.

Review:I bought this sound card for my Inspiron E1505 which I have Bose Companion 5 Speakers hooked up to and they already sounded pretty good for a laptop. But, I was thinking why stop here, let's get the best sound possible and upgrade my sound card. After ordering and recieving the sound card from Creative I discover the card doesn't have a USB port. The Bose System uses a USB output and the PCMCIA Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook Sound Card doesn't have a USB output. I contacted Creative and all they said was buy some different set speakers than my $500 Bose. Then, I also discovered it didn't even plug into my card slot either. So, I guess a they suggest junking my $3500 laptop investment and buy a different laptop as well for their $89 sound card. I think it would be better to just forget about buying the PCMCIA Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook Sound Card. I made a bad mistake buying this item, don't you make the same mistake.

Review:I bought this, and it never fit in the express card slot of my Inspiron E1505. Regret when buy it. Why do they show it in the accessories of Inspiron?
