Review:If you'll be using this with a Dell Studio XPS 16 laptop make sure you get the drivers from the 1647 model even if you have an earlier model. Those drivers are newer and will save you from much grief.

Works fine, but installation doc is missing

Review:I installed this into a Precision Laptop M4400. The documentation came with the product did not talk about how to install the hardware into the laptop. So you need to do your own research in Dell's support website which is somewhat confusing too. When I did the research, the mini-Card is actually called WPAN card in the laptop's service manual. You really don't have a clue until after 30 minutes of cross-referencing and additional research. THEN HERE COMES THE WORST PART--the mounting screw that comes with the mini-Card is the wrong size. I actually borrowed another Dell Laptop's screw to mount the mini-card. The included screw is simply the wrong one. I am a fairly technical person but I found this installation exercise not a good use of my valua ble time. In summary, the product does work fine after the installation is completed. BIOS recognized it immediately after first boot up. Dell--please talk to your purchasing agent to fix the part specification for this accessory.

Title:
Absolutely no documentation
Pros:Cost is not terribly high
Cons:No documentation on how to install this whatsoever. I ordered it as an option with a D830 Latitude, and there is ZERO information on how to install it. It's a waste of time and money.
Review:Dell, really, how about a modicum of infomration regarding this option
