Review:This is a VERY good product for the money. As far as I am concerned, DELL made a big mistake making this monitor and pricing it below $300.00.
The clarity and ease of installation is wonderfull. I wasn't sure what to expect, but when I saw it at the store, I walked out with it.

Review:I bought this monitor for my daughter and it is great. She has it connected to her XPS 630i via DVI and the picture is great. She also connects her PS3 via HDMI and has a set of speakers plugged into it and it passes the sound with no problem and there is no lag when playing any games. Sometimes she will connect her Studio 1555 via HDMI and watch movies on it and that passes the sound just fine. She likes this monitor more than my 2407WFP and my monitor is great. I have concidered getting another one to add to my XPS 730x and run dual monitors along side my 2407. For the price you just can not beat this monitor.

Review:Bought this as general purpose monitor and also to edit home video and photos. I've got it set on 1280 X 768 resolution using Microsoft "Cleartype" technology for my 50+ year old eyes. I'm very impressed. It was detected via DVI connector by my computer and worked perfectly out of the box. I also connected my HD Cable TV box via the HDMI port without a problem. I had to reset the resolution to suit my eyesight...very easy. I sit just over two feet away and this monitor has reduced eyestrain and headaches I used to get using a 17" monitor from the same distance. At the current sale prices, this monitor is an absolute bargain.

Review:We were excited to receive our new monitor but now are disappointed that we are not getting the benefits we expected. We do not believe you furnish enough info with the product for in-home installation by average technical users. We probably need the HDMI (?) cable but are not sure? We also do not have sound and have been unable to get out speaker to work with this monitor. Tried your customer support to no avail. Now to get full benefit will need a comptuer geek to come in and fine tune.

Review:I've purchased this item for a gift since I have had FABULOUS experiences with Dell. As a result, I am unable to give it a true review however, given my previous experience with Dell, I knew I needed to say something about them. I own both a color laser printer as well as my desktop computer (not my first Dell computer). Everything about my Dell experiences have been positive and I certainly recommend Dell to anyone looking for a reliable computer/printer.

Review:This is an excellent monitor. Since it is so large and widescreen it replaces the need for dual monitors. The resoultion is great and everything I have viewed looks incredible. The only things that would make it better would be external USB ports as found on other monitors and the ability to slide it vertically on the stand.

Review:My work consists of programming, graphic design, writing, and video editing. All of these call for as much screen space as possible, and this monitor has been great for accomplishing that. It's got great color reproduction as long as you don't look at it from an angle, which is fine by me.
The size and resolution are great not just for work, but for watching HD movies and TV shows.

Review:Installation / configuration was easy, and the monitor works great with my video card. The clarity and intensity is much superior to any previous Dell monitor I've had. Had to adjust the brightness down a bit, but that was the only change I had to make to the configuration. My favorite game, Diablo II, is overwhelming at full screen mode.
The only drawback is the non-height-adjustable stand -- I have it sitting on a stack of books now. Guess I'll have to get a replacement stand, so I can raise the monitor to a comfortable eye level. Otherwise, the monitor itself is great, especially at this price.

Review:I did what I usually do when looking to upgrade - I researched for months before actually buying something. I'm very glad I did. This monitor is replacing a 9 year old CRT that was a top of the line (back then) monitor, and I wanted to make sure I didn't lose anything in the process.
No dead or bright pixels. No ghosting in games. No backlight bleedthrough. This display is perfect for my needs.
Viewing angle is excellent side to side, just good up and down.
I'm extremely happy with the "bang for your buck" factor of this product.

Review:I'm not hardware savvy and I couldn't explain all the technical features, but as an average consumer I can say this monitor is excellent for the price.
The design looks great and it's sleek design makes the office more modern.
The setup of the monitor was easy and the default settings worked fine.
The 24inch makes a difference between night and day when compared to smaller monitors.
As far as HD quality, I previewed a few youtube videos in HD and it was crisp and clear.

Review:To get the best quality from this monitor, use HDMI cable. When I used analog cable, the pictures would get fuzzy at certain colors likes green and orange. Right when I was getting ready to return the monitor (20 minutes after setting it up), I decided to see what would happen with HDMI cable. I went to a store and bought the cable, once I plugged it in, it was perfect!
I'm in love with this monitor and I highly recommended it!

Review:Cons-At this point, no cons. Have not attempted critical color management adjustment with photo printer. Pros-For the price, unbeatable. Clarity is a joy. The size makes operations faster and easier. Setup was no problem. The only adaptation was to increase mouse response to cover the larger field. This product is an upgrade from the cramped space of a 17" LCD. I'll never go back.
