Review:The picture is dazzling and meets my every expectation. I had to go on-line to adjust the brightness as the unit did not come with adequate instructions or a decent manual. Still, I am very glad I purchased it as it is clearly a very high quality monitor.

ProsI replaced my 19 inch monitor with this 24 inch and what a difference. I have macular degeneration and this monitor is the greatest! Everything is so clear and crisp. Didn't have to adjust anything it was perfect right out of the box. Love the position of the USB ports. I bought this monitor on sale with free shipping. Wish I had of gotten it sooner. I sure love this monitor and would recommend it to anyone that wants a great monitor.
ConsIt does generate some heat but other then that no cons!

ProsI replaced my 2001FP with this unit. I had the old unit for well over 5 years and it ran trouble free. I was completely happy with it. I hope this one provides me with equal quality build.

This is a stunning display! From the moment I took it out of the box and placed it on my desktop, it has real wow factor. Turning it on, while exorbitantly bright, turning that down and doing quite a bit of tweaking will display a great picture. Getting a great picture took much tweaking and some extensive research on various web sites getting others input on getting the picture just right.

This is for the price the best display. Besides being happy with my previous Dell display, I did lot is of research and found little in the way of price which could outperform this unit.

I purchased the unit on sale in December at a cost of $517.00. It was selling for the high $600's at that point.

My unit is an A01 build. I had read from previous post that previous builds had had some issues with some shading issues or colors being uneven. After nearly 5 months I haven't seen a hint of that here.
ConsSure, the buttons are on the cheapo side, but who cares! Aside from the power button, I have used the other ones ever so sparingly that I cannot really call it a con.
There is a flicker, which occurs intermittently. I have not been able to narrow the cause. I have downloaded the latest drivers, but that has not seemed to fix it.
The optional speaker, which is offered here, is not worth it the price of admission. Poor sound, poor build. Besides, it elevates the monitor to a less than desirable height. I removed it. It is collecting dust behind the monitor as we speak.

Review:I like the built-in SD card readers. Could have used another 2 USB ports.

If I were to do it all over again. I would buy this monitor.

ProsVery sharp and bright. I had purchased the 2408WFP and the 2208WFP and was planning to put them next to each other, well, 2208WFP is going back, and I will spend the extra $300 simply because it's worth the extra money. You wont believe your eyes.

I have been looking all over the place to find a better than good monitor, and this is the one, the price seemed a bit steep compared to the other monitors out there, but when you turn this thing on, you know why you're paying a little more.

The monitor stand is great, extra usb and card reader are a nice plus, a ton of extra inputs (which I might be using).

Warranty can't be beat with advance exchange.

I am about to order 2 more, one to replace the 2208WFP and one for my wife who will love it simply for the size.

ConsNot a professional grade monitor, but not priced as such either. It's true that it needs some adjustment out of the box. I agree that the buttons are poor quality, but once you've got it set up, how often does the average user get into the menus?

Review:Okay, I admit this monitor is bright and overly accentuates the reds. But all I had to do was switch to the RGB preset as recommended by another reviewer. It toned things down and looks very nice. After some tweaking and you settle in for daily use, you'll find that this is clear and sharp and will spoil you to other monitors. I can't even hardly look at my old Dell 18 inch CRT monitor anymore. It looks positively dingy in comparison. If you're a professional you already know that you won't spend this kind of money in a 24 inch monitor and be happy. But if you're like me and just want a great monitor for everyday use, I don't think you'll do any better. The standard price is somewhat high. If you can stand to wait, watch for Dell to put it on sale and it will be priced about right. By the way, if this is your first widescreen, don't be fooled by its apparently large size. It's only about an inch taller than my old 18 inch standard aspect ratio CRT. I can't give advice on this monitor for gaming use. I'm not a gamer.

ProsGreat resolution, size, and clarity. The number of input options is staggering. Built-in USB hub is nice.
ConsI wish that the USB hub didn't power down when I turn off the monitor. The color seems to skew slightly cool even with manual tweaking.

Review:The styling and adjustable stands are good. This is a solid monitor with decent response time. I use it for work and play, both of which are well served by a pair of these.

Review:I have search all over and finally ended up buying this. 24 inches and has a bunch of great features. You need to calibrate the monitor. I see more detail and colour in my photo, which I hadn't seen before. I am a serious photographer and also do editing with Photoshop and needed a good monitor to help me. I am happy.
