Review:it may be it a bit pricey for some but i think its a good deal when you open up the box to see it. This monitor is beautiful but it is also pretty big and if you worried it will be to much i would recommend the 22" any bigger than 24" i really believe would be overwhelming

Review:a few weeks after I purchased the monitor for $679 Dell reduced the price to $579

ProsIt's bright and sharp.
Haven't noticed any tearing during movement in games and tracks well in movies.
BluRay looks quite good on this thing.
ConsToo bright. I tried to calibrate the luminosity to 120 nits, (recommended for editing photographs and video), and could not get the monitor that low with just the brightness control. I had to go into the RGB sliders, (set at 100% by default), and lower each one to 60% to get it to within range.
I noticed a *very slight* amount of pink banding in large black/white gradients. (most folks won't even see this. As an Illustrator/Photoshop user, it eventually gets noticed).
Some small amount of light leak from all 4 corners on black screen.

Review:If I could have got this thing cheaper, I'd certanly have considered it a good deal. As it is, I just don't think this monitor is worth $650.00. (with tax)

Review:A steal for the price.

ProsHuge. Beautiful colors. USBs and card readers in the side work well and are quite handy. Picture in picture looks like it could be pretty useful. Stand is very innovative and overall look of the monitor is modern and expensive. Setup is unbelievably simple. A snap, twist, and a couple plugs and you're up and rolling with a gorgeous monitor. Vista recently installed its own special update for the monitor...and I saw no difference...ah, well.
ConsNone. I could imagine some people complaining about the price (my girlfriend did) but I wouldn't use any other monitor.

Makes my 19" LCD here at work seem pitiful and tiny.

Review:I purchased an extension on the already awesome 3 year warranty for a total of 5 years. I am extremely extremely happy with this monitor. I have never had such a pleasant time on the computer. So much easier on my eyes and much better color. Watching HD content is sweeeeeeet.

I love that the Ultrasharps are bright-pixel free guaranteed.

Review:I use the Apple Cinema displays at work and was looking for a less expensive alternative to use at home. Most displays use 6-bit color which is unacceptable for design and photo work, so after reading about and testing several models, I came across this 24" by Dell. I've been very impressed. After profiling/calibrating, the color is on par with the Apple Cinema Display (generally recognized as the standard) and I can highly recommend it.
If you're a designer or photographer, don't even consider the 6-bit models. Although this info isn't usually in the specs, a way to tell is the viewing angle: it's usually 160 degrees on the 6-bit models,and 170 degrees or more on the 8-bit and higher models.

ProsThis monitor has a great picture. It's good for viewing pictures and video. Bright colors and sharp colors also. The stand is fully adjustable and that is a definite plus. The USB ports and card reader both come in real handy and are easy to get to. You can also hook it up using RCA cables and use equipment other than a computer for viewing.
ConsThe only con for me is the price and in the long run it's worth the price.

Review:If you're looking for a high end monitor, this is the one.

ProsI just received this yesterday. I just had to rate this monitor ASAP. This monitor can be used as a TV if you like. The color and size are amazing.
Consa bit pricey.....Not really a con, I had to turn down the brightness and contrast. It came at 50% for both. Not a big deal to adjust.

Review:I read all the reviews and mine doesn't have the red at the bottom of the screen as some say. No shadows, no blue tint, no dead pixcels.
I think that people should check their graphics card and the computer they have to see if compatible.
My computer is an Is Inspiron 530. I have a duel monitor graphics card. If you have researched your computer and card BUY THIS MONITOR. I'm glad I did.

Consonly con is the price. around 600 not including tax is a lot for 24 inch monitors

Review:even though this will cost a lot i honestly think it is worth it, the picture and quality is just amazing! not to mention it comes standard with a 3yr warranty.
