ProsIMage quality is very good. Inegrated USB ports are very handy as I have this attached to my laptop docking station and USB ports are in short supply..
ConsColor is not quite as rich when compared to Laptop screen.
Review:Wires are always unslghtly and unrully.

ProsThe physical appearance of the monitor is very nice and you can tell the build quality is very high. The color and brightness is excellent and the overall image quality is fantastic. The menu system built into the monitor is also very easy to use and has many settings already preprogrammed. The response time is very fast and games such as Worlds of Warcraft look great on it. The USB ports, built in webcam, and HDMI port is also an added bonus.
ConsThe reflection and glare is horrible. If you have any sort of sunlight coming in behind you then you will see it. In dark scenes you will see a reflection of yourself and anything behind you. The glare is so bad during certain times of the day that I had to replace the monitor.
Review:If it was not for the glare / refelection, I would have kept this monitor as it is a great monitor. If glare or reflection is a problem for you, I would recommend you not purchase this monitor. If it is not an issue for you then I highly recommend it.

ProsBefore buying this monitor, I read the reviews and contacted tech support. Having a Dimension 3000, I was not sure that getting it would be a good idea. I'm so glad I did!!. It is a great looking screen. I had the original 15'" flat when I bought the system, and watching movies is a WOW. I was also able to play games I had purchased that wouldn't before (higher resolution). I really like how the brightness can be adjusted, and the added connections on the side. It was easy to install and the web cam was a big plus.
ConsI had some difficulty with the blurred images at first, but when I adjusted the text settings on IE, it looks great. I didn't have an adjustable stand, so were I have it positioned works for me.
Review:After reading some of the reviews, I believe having XP was a plus.

ProsIn its price range, this monitor is perfect. It has a wonderful design in terms of the buttons and it's extremely easy to switch between inputs. The webcam and microphone are very handy and fun to use. A whole lot of inputs including HDMI / Audio out for HDMI.. PS3 looks great.
ConsSlight black light bleed at the top and bottom but only noticeable when it's a completely black screen- that is IT.
Review:The stand is extremely sturdy and it takes literally 2 seconds to take the stand off from the monitor. The base is made out of heavy metal and this monitor looks great. What are you waiting for? This monitor rawks.

ProsThis monitor has a fantastic image, no dead pixels like some reviewers had. Works smoothly with high intensity graphic requirements such as games and DVD's. After reading some of the reviews I was initially hesitant about ordering this product, but I am now very happy that I did. Once I got the webcam working, I was surprised by how unpixelated the image was. I won't say it is anything fantastic, but quality was better than what I expected. I love the fact that the monitor has dual inputs. This makes it very easy to use with multiple computer systems, simply at the press of a button. Also, I have used this monitor with a wide variety of VGA and DVI graphic cards. Some have been as old as five years old. This monitor has worked very well and has been accepted by all of them with no issues.
ConsThe two greatest cons in my opinion is that the preset colors are very poorly selected; and it may be difficult for some users to cope with setting the colors to their preferences. Also, the stand height is non adjustable and it is up to the user to adjust themselves to meet the viewable area of the crystals. I initially had problems with the webcam, but after a reinstall of the operating system the webcam worked flawlessly. I think my problem with the cam was unique due to other software on my computer, but it may be a problem initially to some users.
Review:The pros outweigh the cons by far, plus you would be hard pressed to find a comparably priced monitor with a 3 year warranty attached.

ProsThis display has got a ncie design with built-in video and microphone. The text and graphics are good
ConsWithin one month of buying it, a yellow vertical line which turned into purple appeared on the right end of the monitor. This line comes and goes off randomly. Initially, I suspected this could be a GPU or driver issue. But when I disconnected the display from the PC, the line stayed on. Turned the power off to the dispaly and turned back on wiht no connection to PC , the line reappeared. It goes off after 5 minutes or before and very randonm in nature. Contacted DELL support and they are replacing the unit. I am not sure if this is an isolated issue.
Review:I am thinking of extending the warranty on this unit in case if the replacement unit develops the same problem.

ProsBeautiful colors. Webcam works with iChat and os 10.5.2. Great value for the money
ConsOn a Mac G5 tower,initially fonts were pixellated, menu fonts had a white shadow around them and were unevenly stroked. But this all gets fixed if you use the onscreen menu and change each of the RGB values from 100 to 50. It would be nice if the monitor were adjustable for height.

Review:You get what you pay for, this unit uses a cheap TN panel as does the ultrasharp 22 inch model. I sent it back and went for the 24 inch UltraSharp 2408WFP.

Cons-Horrible default color settings, it took me hours to get to a decent setting, and I'm still not happy with how the red looks. I think I am going to call Dell tomorrow and see if they have any suggestions. -No height adjustment. This really makes no sense because it seems like it would be standard on a TN panel because Viewing Angle is so important. -Slight bleed through on the edges but nothing that would make me wants to return it.
Review:While in the end I like the monitor I would be wary about recommending this monitor to a friend. Because of the color setting defaults I would only recommend this to someone who knows a thing or two about computers. My Mother, for instance, would be lost and not know how to get it right. The no height adjustment I can live with, but the default settings are in-excusable and should be fixed ASAP. It's the only thing keeping this from being a great monitor for everyone. Right now it takes alot of work for it's greatness to shine.

ConsLack of height adjustablitly a little irritating Web cam is fixed in place, can't adjust (not a big deal for me... since I have no use for it... but still...) Top resolution of 1650 x 1080 makes is a good, but not perfect choice for 1080P HD.
Review:I've been shopping monitors for a while, and this one really is one of the nicest looking I've seen. I had to turn down the brightness a touch... the initial picture was so sharp and so bright, it hurt a little to look at!
Online reviews have been overwhelmingly favorable for this monitor..... I would recommend it.
