ProsEase of set-up. Excellent black and vivid colors. Text extremely easy to read in word processing programs. ConsDocumentation which came with the monitor somewhat skimpy.
Review:I use this monitor for digital photography image processing. The screen colors are a true match to the printer output. The screen size is great for detailed image analysis, and gives a good representation of final image size. The swivel feature is great for viewing images in portrait mode in maximum resolution. I am sorry I didn't buy this monitor sooner.

ProsAlready own a Dell Flat Screen that I thought was wonderful. No comparison. This is far superior. I have them linked side by side and use them both at the same time. This Ultra sharp is so much brighter and of course much wider. I can have my Family Tree program up on my old screen, open a Web site AND spreadsheet on the wide screen and work from one to the other. I can cut and paste from one screen into my family tree program in the other screen. I love the usb cable availability for my card reader and flash drives built into the screen where I can actually reach them. Very convenient. The ability to adjust the height is a very useful feature also. I cannot say enough about this screen. ConsI have found nothing that I can say against this screen at this time.

Review:This monitor is great. USB port HUB added, tilts, height adjustment and the screen is big enough to fit your needs. 20", 17", that's sooo 2008. I wouldn't mind one more size up, but this one fits the job. Shipping was quick, I got it faster than expected. The quality finish is nice and so far...no dead pixels. 3 year exchange warranty...what else could you want? And for the price...its worth it.
Cons: I wish it would come with speakers added.

Review:I have had my eye on this monitor for a while, and when it went on sale for Earth Day I just couldn't pass it up. The set up is very easy, the picture quality is beautiful and it has all the features that I want in a monitor. The 22" viewing area is great for multi-tasking. I surf the internet, type documents, check my e-mail and listen to music or watch television all at the same time. This monitor is definitely worth purchasing.

Cons:
Difficult to calibrate overly bright and some light bleed from center top and bottom but acceptable. Slow auto-sync on the inputs.
Other Thoughts:
I have owned an ultra sharp 19" for over 3 years it is fabulous! Color is great; image is sharp best monitor I even owned. I purchased this with the same high expectations and was disappointed when I received one that was re packaged but worked fine so I thought I would get a replacement based on that. The replacement came and it was new but the picture was far worse than the first one. Pinkish hue to the whites not correctable so I kept the first repackaged one.
Here is the deal> out of the box it is terrible, I used the DVI first off - w/GeForce 9800GTX so we know we are working with top level GPU.
I used Pantone HuePro and color Monki to calibrate the monitor >professional graphics products. Using the preset of Warm or Desktop RGB I could not get the Red' hue out of it so it would stop with the iridescence type appearance. And even after the profiling software finished I still was left with washed out text - difficult to read on the internet and in documents, very unlike my 19" which was so easy to read with no eye squinting very natural.
So after many hours spent on using every setting on the panel to get this monitor correctly displaying text and graphics and color correctness I ended up performing one simple step first prior to calibrating the monitor. Go to preset modes - and select CUSTOM as the default max out the RGB Gamma then save out. Then calibrate the monitor not using any of the preset modes it finally setup correctly and is very usable, just still a little bright so turn down the brightness to about 50% and contrast to 70% and it should be but acceptable.

Review:I already had a Dell 22" monitor and I got this as my 2nd one for graphics. This one is way to bright and not really true color based. I love my 2 year old one much much better for the color and we can not get them matched as far as the color. Not real close for that matter. I like the movability and the USB ports except the ports are not conveniently located and not easy to get to. I am not real happy with the monitor.

Review:Got this about a month ago. Great price. Brilliant display. Only one issue found when setting up. I set the resolution for the highest possible - then ran into issues when using Media Center. I lowered the resolution to 1080i and the problem was resolved.

Review:First of all- if you're using this monitor for simple daily tasks, like e-mail and web browsing, it's perfectly fine. But beware, if you're using it for anything that requires accurate color/contrast/etc., it should be avoided.
The claims on here that the color "washes out" at the bottom of the screen are absolutely true. Check out the many youtube.com videos of the 20" iMac's screen problem- this monitor does the exact same thing. Is it noticeable for regular tasks? No, not really. Is it acceptable for a monitor this size in this price range? Based on the competition, probably. But if you're the type of person who expects perfection, this isn't it.
Honestly, for those "video editing professionals" complaining about the color accuracy, I'd ask why they sought out such a cheap monitor- something that is one of the most vital tools to their work. A nice monitor for this type of work typically costs around $800. You get what you pay for- don't be the idiot who thinks you're getting the best for the least amount of money.

Review:Pros Good price for screen size. Nice features (adjustable, rotatable, USB hub).
Cons was it was a little hard to setup with my older NVIDIA Geforce 5500 card. Native res was supported but only in VGA not in DVI(this looks more like a Card issue though). USB hub doesn't support connecting an Ipod. Always shows up as in known usb device. That is a big one for me. I have to connect my ipod directly on my PC now. I will not return it because it's too much trouble but I would if I had bought it in the store.
Additional Thoughts I'm not pleased with my purchase but i'm not so displeased that it is worth going through the trouble of returning it. I will keep it until another deal comes along for a better model. I will then put this one as a backup for my tests PCs. (or give it to my girlfriend.

ProsNice design, Cheap at $179, USB ports and Cables included ConsThis monitor shouldn’t to be called UltraSharp. The colors are washed out (no matter the modes or adjustments that I tried). It has very low viewing angle and a light blue tint. Overall it’s much worse than my 20” UltraSharp Dell that I bought 3 years ago and used everyday
Review:If you don't care about image quality, nor the viewing angle, it's fine due to the nice stand and the price.
